I''ve made my choice...

I'm seeing lot's of new stuff in this 4" by 4" trialer.  First of all, there is green terrain.  Second of all, there is more green terrain.  Hmm, I guess that's about it.  In my heart of hearts, I wish this game would become the mega blockbuster we'd expect from the makers of Diablo, but the truth is, these guys are completely out of touch with what made Diablo great:  Mature story and a BALANCE of random vs. static content.  Until we see some good cinematics, coherent story, and a curb to the rampant randomness, HGL will never be an impressive game.

I tried to tell the devs this in beta and after launch, but they would not listen.  Good thing they didn't.  They'd be bogged down having to add all those extra servers if they had listened.  Wouldn't want that, no sir.

dude

Looks pretty good. I've been replaying the demo over and over... and despite all the bashing of this game, I can't wait to get online. Considering that there's no monthly fee and the game actually runs, I'd rather play this than any MMO

I just think of it as an FPS with RPG elements.

Trailer looks great. I love this game overall. My only gripe seems to be the constant darkness, I mean.. i know that the game is meant to be dark but it reminds me of doom 3 a bit much. Stonehenge was a nice touch of green and an actual true out-door feeling. I think the next game Flagship works on should shy away from the complete city atmosphere.
