All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. |

Like the old saying goes..."Once you go Ferengi you can't afford to go back." ... "Hell! You can barely afford to keep up with the interest payments!"

"We''re not making a game for Trekkies" Daron Stinnett, Perpetual Entertainment |
Today is a great day for STO fans everywhere. Looks like we have a small glimmer of hope. 45 days and counting. I can't wait to see what the game is. Cryptic is a good company and CoH is a great game (even if it isn't for me). If Daron (or any other executive from PE/P2) has anything to do with this project, I'm going to cry and give up gaming for good.

I have faith that they will do a great job with this IP. On the downside, what are we looking at for release? 2011...maybe 2012? |

I'm a bit taken back by Darren Stinnet still being involved I hope for their sakes they will be adding (SSI) STAR SHIP INTERIORS this time....PLAYER SSIs...NOT JUST HUBS!!! Anything less is unacceptable And while I'm here I will just give my list of demands 1) NO LEVELS...WE DONT WANT THEM ANYMORE 2) SKILL BASED SYSTEM ...NO CLASSES...WE HATE CLASSES!!! 3) PLAYER AND GUILD RUN SHIPS WITH INTERIORS 4) LITTLE OR NO INSTANCING 5) CRAFTERS MAKE THE BEST ITEMS IN THE GAME 6) WE WANT ITEM DECAY 7) PLAYER DRIVEN ECONOMY 8) OPEN PLANETS...NO FU@KING INVIZA WALLS 9) GREAT PVP AND PVE ELEMENTS...NONE OF THE SH!T YOU WERE PLANNING BEFORE! YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!! 10) WE WANT A SANDBOX GAME...NO EXCUSES!!!
Hey Darren... you wont get a 3rd chance to make this game! |

I agree with everything you said, i think everyone in the mmo community is getting tired of level based games, Even my friend who played wow for 2-3 years now wants a game where he doesnt have to worry about getting to the next higher level.
I know at least 10 of my old friends that want a swg pre-cu style game again, anyone that says there isnt a market for it is dead wrong.
The only reason that type of MMO isnt popular right now is cause no one has | |
