Things are getting worse now and funcom doesn't give a rats ass about us. Why don't you just come out FC and say you abandoned ao in favor of your new game are are shutting us down since it seems that way for sure. All these problems and all we get is someone telling us to shut up and wait. http://forums.anarchy-online.com/showthread.php?t=531031&page=6

It's amazing how some people are so quick to defend a company for having its customer service go into the toilet. Some people really think they're clever for coming up with statements like, "It's a business." Thanks, Chairman Bernanke. It's a good thing you have a vast knowledge of business and economics that we all lack. Guess what? Customer service is a hugely important part of running a business, especially a MMORPG. If you don't feel like maintaining decent CS, then you accept the bum rep you'll be getting. A second project is not a justification. If you want to make excuses for Funcom, say that they were completely unprepared for the CS rush they're getting and need to hire additional bodies. I guarantee you nobody is sitting at Funcom HQ, smirking at the situation, saying, "Don't worry, guys. It's a business. Smart people know that." |

Agreed, regardless of what the buisness is customer service is always a large part of what makes a buisness succesfull, especially when you are talking about a company among many others that offers the same/similar products. |

these companies can do anything they wanna do online... if you read most of these companies' TOS (Terms of Scubcription), you'll always see that "waver" that your account is always owned by the company. i dunno if any of those legal suit against gaming companies have been successful. if only we have agencies that help online community, especially online gamers who are engrossed at using their green bucks online, that protects their rights. business online is like a monopoly in itself, you can't do nothing but grimmace in anger... |

It's not a matter of what is legal to do, most companies could legaly get away with many things that would suprise most people whether online or real. It is the fact that if you want to retain customers and grow you better treat them well or you are going to have a really difficult time. I am perfectly aware that all your monthly fee is really for is giving you access to their servers, you don;t actually have the right to or own anything involved with any of the games. |
