Age of Conan

Me and my friends is all hooked on AoC. The atmosphere is great and I enjoy every minut of it.
The story line is fantastic and the graphics very nice, I dont have a very good gaming rig (a iMac 24") but I get enough framerate and quality to have a good time. I hope my wife doesnt get mad because this game is stealing alot of time now.

Pssssh. Do not post such things. We all know AoC sucks, is completely unfinished and no sane person could possibly ever enjoy it.

Come on, just read these forums a little and you will soon realize that AoC will lose about 80% of their subscriptions by the end of the first month. It'll be free to play in no time (I predict half a year at most), and the community is horrible to begin with.

Promised features were never implemented till release, which makes the rest of the game totally unimportant and frankly, boring. The quests stop past 40 and you are forced to grind all the way up to 80, if you want to. Crafting is completely broken and doesn't work. Player Cities are completely broken. Battle Keeps do not work at all, evident because there are none yet!

There are no dungeons in the game. There is no raid content, so there's no PvE content. PvP is a joke, because you can't loot the other players.

I think I covered it all, right?

Actually I wager that the Sentiment of the OP is of the majority of AoC players. Its well known the majority of forum posters are a small fraction of the playerbase. The fact you feel the need to flame a Pro-AoC post suggests that you sense your ANTI-AoC message is not taking hold

I love it too!  So do most of my friends.  Needs some polish, but overall it's a lot of fun, and will hold me over for a long time while I wait on some god like perfect sandbox mmo to come out.

See, MMORPG.com forums used to be a place where people who played a game could come and discuss that game.

Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Due to absolute failure of the moderation of this site, trolls and haters have been allowed to set up camp here to flame and harass ANY fan of the game.

Positive posts are stomped into the ground so that these morons can continue their ceaseless campaign of bashing a game that most of them havn't even played (as evidenced by the content of many of their posts).

So, my advice to you is to find another site to post at. It's what I did, after years of coming here.
