With the release date being pushed back again, for the umptieth time, to 2009, do you think Aion will become vaporware?

The other notion is the split between EU and US servers and no support planned to be able to play on both.

I'm starting to think Aion will have Asian support but will become vaporware in the US/EU.

This game gets pushed back again and again and there is still 0 support for a EU/US beta while every other MMO is being released, this is becoming a joke.

Oh , pushed back you say? The last announcement from Kieron its actualy the first news you are reading about Aion right? When did NcSoft said a specific release date? Can you please be so kind to past us the link? They didn't it and neither now , and regarding with what Kieron said , it was just a estimated date , that's all and not a specific release date.

We ( the ones that actualy read alot about Aion ) knew in a way or other that Aion will be released Q4/2008 or Q1/2009 so this is nothing new.

We better wait for a finished game because I don't want Aion to be released unfinished and become like ... well .. you know the name.

About Asian support , again .. you didn't read enough infos about Aion. Did you know that actualy they have a studio in US for NA customers and one in England for EU ones? No? Oh .. you know now.

The game was supposed to come out in 2007, then it became 2008, now 2009.

No support to play on EU/US servers together.

The game isn't even translated in English yet.

No beta in sight anywhere except korea.

NCsoft has financial dificulties with TR failing.

And now they come tell us the game won't be released befor 2009??

I'm sory if I'm becoming very very sceptical.

It wasnt pushed back again... it was announced for the first time. The dates youre seeing now are the Korean version of the game. As this game's developers are Korean.

It was, the target date was for early 2007....now it's 2009. I'm sorry but how do you miss a target date by 3 years?

A year ago they told us the beta was "months away".. I'm thinking vaporware sorry.

Where EXACTLY did you saw that the game was supposed to come out in 2007/2008? There are rumors and if devs has said that , they said an estimated release. Don't trust Amazon or anyother online stores like it.

Again , we do not know for sure, but hence this is what I currently don't like but maybe they will change it.

They work parallel with the Korean version. I believe they have everything translated till now ( CBT 2 ). Do a search on youtube and you can see a english version from dec/2007 I believe. It's about a quest or something.

Oh , you are right and let them test for us and we have a sight for CBT which can be hold in OCT/NOV this year in EU/NA. You can check what Kieron said.

Aion it's made in Korean office and not from US. They have/had a budget for Aion of 200$ mil . If they had financial dif. don't you think that they will released the game early? Think about it first.

LOL where are you getting this idea that it was to be released in 2007?  It was little more than a dream in a designers mind back then.  Are you getting your release dates of Gamstop.com?  I've been watching closely and there has never until now been any indication of a release schedule.  NC Soft Korea does not make Vapor Ware.  These are about the only real MMO makers in existence.

Why would people wait for a game that was supposed to come out 3 years ago?

By the time this gets released it's probably 2010.

So a game that showed up for the first time in E3 2006 and that is releasing in 2008 for korea is vaporware? A game that has gone through 2 closed betas with no NDAs, with more than 300 player made videos out is vaporware? A game which company has released already 3 games, published a lot more, with more than 4M customers at this time in their different products around the world, is vaporware?

Don't come with that one here, it's not the place. We are all impatient, but those 2007 dates you say were never confirmed by an official source, this is the first time when we can appreciate the game is getting finished, even tho it looked finished for those who played the first 20 levels during CBT1. We're going to get a jewel and more than 10K players have already witnessed it and they shared it with the whole world via videos and more.
