I do! as a lvl 63 guardian on a pvp server. Ya some bugs but not any more than any other mmo had in my opinion (started in 2000 on AC) and I really like the game. |

Me too, I don't know why so many people are complaining. The only thing I've come up with is that they enjoy complaining. If you don't like something, move along. I hate the look of the new Dodge Charger but I don't spam their web forums and picket the Dodge dealership....I just drive a different car. |

I just got to meet king conan for my lvl 60 destiny. I cant wait for the servers to go up. My guild has 7 80s and there is never a lack of pvp. I think people dont like it because they had expectations. I have learned that companies are going to create a game they want no matter what we think (SOE example). I just play it because I like what they have done. |

Ive tried it for a couple of hours and did as well enjoy it and I do not understand why pepole are so keen to complain about a game on a forum... Its rather odd that they do so insteed of...play a game they enjoy (for example).

All the power to you OP. If you likes it, great. Obviously to like such a shallow, bugged, empty mmo you must never have played a truely great mmo before. |

Ditto - the game has its problems, a few quite severe, but they either don't bother me or I haven't encountered them. I've had a blast so far (lvl 35 Bear Shaman). I think part of the problem is that a lot of people are getting bored with WoW and wanted a new "home" MMO, and when it turned out that AoC hasn't got all the furniture in, and some of the walls still need painting, and one or two walls even need plastering, they got very, very upset. I guess that's understandable. Frustrated sense of entitlement. It's also more of an "on rails" game than many might have hoped, but for an "open world" fix I'd go to something like Vanguard, which is a pretty sweet MMO now. AoC is more comparable to CoX imho - I go to it for a couple of hours every now and then for a bit of intense combat fun, and expecting a small sense of progression in that time, and if there are groups around I'll join them, or sometimes form one. At that casual level, AoC is just fine. |

That's nice. :) But, played EQ1, DAoC, and WoW for years. Each. Do you really think AoC has that kind of staying power? Or that the community will be worth talking to in 3 month's time? Bet we see you in WAR on Launch Day ! |

I played eq1 I didnt like it, played daoc didnt care much for it either. AC drew me in and I still think has the best system for an mmo although now its incredably outdated. swg drew me in but the game was changed beyond recognition. I had fun in lineage 2, wow, AC2, RF online, lotr online, vanguard. I have played most of them. A truly great mmo? that is a matter of opinion I think. In the end it is a game. A game's purpose for the consumer is to provide something thats fun. I have fun playing aoc so I will continue to play it. |

The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last. |

Empty ? - Now I know you havent really played AoC to its full potential in its current state. But I am creeping on level 60 now and had no problem finding content to do. My gripes though.. No incentive for PvPing, BG's borked and no DX10, alright, I am kidding about DX10 and I really dont give a shitz at this point about DX10, but my last problem with AoC is not being a true open world like some mmo's we have played, ahem, SWG / WoW. Oh yeah, I am not a big fan on the instancing to group up with your friends either (aka guild wars). Other than that, the game is still playable and my good outways my bad experience. I have played other mmorpgs in the past and AoC is no different than others that were launched, as a matter of fact, I had a great launch with AoC comparable to rival mmo's. |
