... but I never bought the actual game.  Only played the beta. 

Is there a way I can download the client?  I mean I did so for beta but I havent been able to find a client download that wasnt a purhcase site.

Oh!  I just recalled I hadnt played Vanguard since before I built my new rig.  Hehe.... Quad Core should be nice for Vanguard. :)

I'm running quad core and dual graphics cards, and the game runs max... it's beautiful.

On another topic, somewhat related to the original, I know SOE reactivated accounts till the end of july.

If someone were to make a trial account today could they play till the end of july as well?

I'm not sure. Rereading the email says you can reactivate your account until July 31st but i only says you can play for a limited time*.  So, I'm thinking 2 weeks at most but giving people a one month window to jump in to reactivate.

Also, wondering.  I had two characters before.  I'm willing to bet I should delete them and restart fresh since I know weapons and all that must have changes alot since beta.  Are there still corpse runs as well? 

You know what, I take that back.  Just going into my subs info at SOE shows my status pending for Vanguard and says expires July 31st... Hmm.  Also have the same thing for EQ2. (8-1-8)

I dont think if someone started a trial right now it would do much. It says on the email that if I bought a subscribed to the game I would lose the free game time.  I would be willing to bet the trial is still just the trial. 

Yes, a trial account won't get this offer. I used my buddy key last december to check the state of the game, and then there was suddently a free offer for the holidays. I couldn't use the trial account after it ran out, but I could use my old subscription.

Not to change the topic, but do anyone know if I can switch back to Vanguard Launcher (without repatching the whole game) instead of the Station Launcher? the test server doesn't run with the Station Launcher

well it would have been nice to get some free time after the dissapointment with AoC, I got the email, but my account still registers as closed even thou I played for about 6 months in retail, to bad sony, that kind of pisses me off and makes me wonder if the same small time crap will happen if I come back.

You know i dont get why sony's name is dirt to so many gamers. I know the story so save your breath because i dont want to hear any whining about it. Thats directed at you SWG vets.
I started dealing with sony when they took over Vanguard which ive been playing sence day 1 And in that time sony has gave me 4 free months to EQ2 Iv'e never subbed to EQ2 or any sony game but vanguard.

Now in my books that make's them far above any other company ive had to deal with when it comes to mmo's. Ya i know its marketing but who cares.

Think a couple times blizzard said they would give me a few free days because of downtime because of a patch. But me and my wife both had accounts and neither one of us ever did get the days we still got charged on the same day that we always did

No i dont Terranah. I dont think sony deserves the rep they got myself. I think Lucas Arts is more at fault than sony when it comes to what happened in SWG
As far as am concerned the've gave me 4 free months no other gaming company has ever gave me one thing but take my money. God knows there was plenty of times where a few free days would have been warrented
