of course, but this was quite the bad change... and the hidden motives of the move are undeniably suspicious.

Everyone knows that OPEN beta is more an advertisement tool than else. Most of the people coming on board at that stage want to see the game, not test it. So seen in that light, looks like bad advertisement.

Not surprisingly as my local gamestore still has the "Blood! Violence! BarFights!" banners.... and guess what... 1 of those three is not in the game as of now...

Beta... subject to removal and not making it into the game for months.  Is quite different.

Funcom did the latter and didn't let anyone know that's what they were doing.

It was, and still is beta.  Considering that if the game shipped with all the pieces missing that were promised to customers that means they never hit "gold."

Ignoring the drama & bad mathematics about armor sets, just a couple of minor points.

Using block capitals for terms like 'SOE' & 'MMO' is fine because they are acronyms. Interestingly though you don't seem to put 'OK' in block capitals.

Using block capitals on normal english words like 'NOT, 'MAGICAL', 'MORE', 'AM', 'ESPECIALLY', 'HATE', 'LIED' & 'TO' in order to simulate that you are actually shouting as you type is just plain annoying.

Whilst you have every right to your opinion, other people have every right to disagree. If you actually want to convince others that your opinions are correct rather than just rant about them, reasoned logical arguments tend to work better than block capital temper tantrums.

In my opinion of course.

Disliking the unnecessary use of block capitals for emotional effect has as little to do with criticising grammar as your comment about 'debate the points & not the person' has to do with my post.

There weren't any real points to debate or even ignore as he doesn't attempt to form rational arguments, just use lots of emotional outbursts & make unsubstantiated claims.

In his the entire rant, aside from comments about how upset he was, there were only two actual attempts at conveying information. Firstly a claim about missing armour which many other posters have responded to and secondly an extreme unsubstantiated claim about plant animation that even if it had any truth to it was irrelevant.

Absolutely valid. It's no secret that the lead-in to launch was a hoax. It was rife with misinformation and insinuation.

With that said, I still enjoy the game. I feel bad that a lot of people feel ripped off (justifiably i might add), but I now hope they spend the money wisely and get this puzzle put together asap.

I cant decide which is more fun at the moment, the AoC forum or the Darkfall forum.

True? Why the hell would Funcom let you believe you can have level 40+ looking armor at level 20? did they think the level 20 armor was too ugly?

False? We seem to have screenshots proof here, you tell me if it is false, then the OP got it totally wrong somewhere down the line.

True or false? - who cares, are you still level 20 or something?  If you are, level up and stop crying.

If you want to have the best gear.... go to a dungeon and get it.  If you can't just deal with it.

Tradeskill is in the game but buggy as hell.  I don't really feel 'lie' to since it's in the game and it's still early.

End game siege is the only thing you can really nail them on since it was part of the ads.  Of course, I'm not at the end game yet and it doesn't effect me.  I believe they are adding in that content over the next month so I guess it's around the time I get high enough. 

Lesson?  don't buy an mmo right off and rush to the max level to cry about having to wait a month to play all the content.

Nope you got the Lesson all wrong.

Lesson?  stop allowing half finished games from hitting the market.   Us players need to make a stand and stop allowing this game companies to put out half finished games.
