Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Hey guys and gals,

We are aware that there are animations within our game that is not up to par. It will be addressed, but is a separate pass than "PC phase 2". The animation pass is a pretty big task and we did not want to delay the release of the new PC models.

next year?  for the new models and animations?  thats a fair set back from this summer

But... at least they're coming

I think this prediciton was made based on the current subscription base and does not account for the massive in-flux of new (or returning) players. I believe if 1/2 of these players stay it will be a good sized influx of revenue that can be used to make things happen quicker.

New ANIMATIONS will be next year. The new models WILL be this summer and are being show cased at the SOE fan faire next month. The male models are done and they are just finishing up the female ones.

New PC models, same animations for a year. The models are still coming.

oh good.  I didnt interpret that correctly.

Yep, also though about that.

Its better to suprise us with animations before the end of the year :P

But I think the art department probably have other stuff to work on after the revamp so thats why probably next year.

The BIG question for me is: how much can you configure them? Will we see something as detailled as it used to be, or will be be mere WOW-ish "select from 5 given faces"?

I just wish they'd release an expansion so that we can move on with the game.  I don't need new animations, I need more sh...er...stuff to do without having to raid APW 7 nights a week.

Silius said that they were bringing back "90% of customization" that was removed.  I guess we'll find out what that means.
