Mastering the Art of Chill

I can careless about downtime. I want my 2 Patches a week like Promised.

All MMO's have grinds. If you don't like to Grind then MMO's are not for you.

It is all vaporware until I see it go live!

This is a good sign, they don't need to patch more than once a week now.  (still fairly agressive)

I heard they're using the WoW patching technique...  server goes down for 3 hrs after the patch all the contnts of your mailbox disappear for 3 days...

Current:
Played: EVE, Lineage II, SWG (Pre CU), CoH, EQ2, WoW.
Waiting for: Stargate Worlds

It is good indeed, but why did they PROMISE two patches a week in the first place, when plain logic was most obvious that such a pressure could not be kept? For the 1 guys happy about this there will be two angry. Its always those big mouthed guys who bring trouble by promises promises turn to dust.

the 2 patches a week were most likely to fix as much as possible within the first month, nothing more.

Now that they have moved into the post free month time where subscription fees come into play they will do 1 patch a week with more Q&A (which is heavily needed judging by the amount of new bugs vs fix ratio that has been going on the last few weeks)

1 patch a week is still a good thing. It will allow for less crap being introduced in the long run.

It doesn't really matter to me...as long as they keep up with the same speed as before i'll be fine with this change. The only thing that bothers me is before we got 2 days, but now we just get a random day. I would like to know the day of patch, so that I do not plan a big play time or maybe I can start getting hyped about when there putting in the PVP levels.

I'm wondering in a year, a new player installing the game will have to download how many gigs of patches before being able to play.  Talk about wasting a whole month of bandwith in a single day to patch a game.

Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his brother.

For the record - They never PROMISED two patches per week. Awhile back they announced how patches would stop happening frequently as soon as most major issues had been resolved.

What was said was a plan.

Fellow Hyborians!

As you may have noticed we have had frequent patches the last two weeks. We hope this will soon start to quiet down, but as long as there are major issues – and there have been – we will dedicate the Conan team to fixing them and giving you these fixes as soon as possible!

We have moved from 2 updates a week to 1 update a week (Wednesdays) to be able to further test fixes and also keep improving the content of update notes.

More focused patches that contain more fixes and enhancements, while the servers are available more and more in-depth patch notes.  This is the plan - they had planned previously to deploy two per week to fix majo
