Ok, so it's been more than a month since release and I am still playing the game for now. Not a fanboi.

The game world is small and more instanced than the Yahoo! Games Chess. Level 50+ content is lacking, itemization is a joke (can't stress this enough), PVP is meaningless, skill don't usually work and there are tons of bugs. But apparently Funcom is working on it.

When someone says AoC rules they always say something like this: "I love AoC. It has great graphics, great animations, a great combat system and... amazing visuals."

Tell you what, the graphics are really good with a high-end system. No argument there.The combat system? Not so great really. Not at all. Here is a basic review of AoC combo system:

BORING.

The good news is that only the melee classes have to endure that.  As a result I play a Necro and it plays exactly like every other MMORPG game out there but with pretty graphics.

IMHO.

The Necromancer is the exception to the "Great animation". The running animation for their minions is utterly pathetic.

uhhhhh ok, but I have to disagree with you on the lvl 50+ content. I have 2 chars lvl 50+ and I can find plenty of things to do, quests are all over the place, crafting is fun, for those who enjoy it. I personally enjoy grinding certain mobs for the loot drops.I have no problem with using the skills. I can't find any truth behind any of your claims... srrry ......

I know I say it alot but its the truth." What games don't have bugs?" Every game I have ever played, has patches to install either each week or each month. so obviously they have bugs.

Yeah they prob will. funcom lied and promised them rap music and all they got was rock n roll.

Indeed I am. But even as a monkey I can see that:

1. No, not all MMORPG games have bugs therefore making AoC somehow acceptable.

2. Wanting to play a working game with working skills, traits and balanced classes is NOT whining.

3. Just because the man who's job is on the line if AoC fails calls his game a steak, it doesn't mean it is.

Funcom wanted to create a next-gen game, they failed, they needed more time, they took more time, they ran out of money so they overhyped and released this piece of crap before going bankrupt. It's a scam.

Really thats funny you say that, because I already have a poster of you, but its not above my bed (don't swing that way) but its above my computer. someone is trolling down the street sipping on gin and juice.

srry I have to disagree with you again.
 

1. Yes all MMO's have bugs, name one that doesn't, and you can explain the need for patches.

2. The game has working skills, and the classes are very well balanced unlike the classes in WOW.

3. The game must be doing very well seeing how it has sold so many copies. All the players I see online when I play must be bots.

They are making enough money off sales and subs to quickly cover what money they put into and if some of us (you know who you are) were patient and relaxed, maybe had a few beers, and didn't spend so much of our time nit picking about small things, we would see that they are fixing things and it will take time.

Im no FANBOIS by the way, if the game sux to you, thats your opinion, but if people are going to be negative about a game, then they should have their facts in order.
