I have about 2k unsold charcoal. I'm told it's not the best going mat and that i should farm better ones. I spent the whole day putting efforts into this only to be told what? farm more...

Right now i'm still deciding weather to go back to wow and start a new toon on a different server maybe. Or sticking with this looser's game because my clan helped me a lot getting decent gear.

I checked L2WH.com and Charcoal is going for about 800 Each so you should be able to make about  1.6M. Thats not bad for 1 day of farming. Go to Giran near the Grocery Store and check and see if anybody is selling Charcoal. If nobody is selling put a shop up for 800 Each overnight or during the day when you will be away from the game. You can try for more than 800 if nobody else is selling but If somebody else is selling see how much they are selling for. If its more than 800 you should put your shop at 800. If its lower than 800 is up to you if you want to beat there price or not. If I see shops selling at much lower than I want to sell for I just wait and try the next day.

The market is very random, sometimes some mats are in while sometimes it isn't. I have seen charcoal in 1k range before but then other times I have seen it has 300 adena. Definitely save it if you can't find a good price, what I do is whenever I go into Giran I always check all shops to see if there is a good price for my mats, if not then save it.

what's your level? 1,5M/2M in a day is quite good actually.

OP, I couldn't help notice you said you played WOW, and are considering going back to it.

Lineage 2 is probably the polar opposite of WOW in terms of ease of gameplay and content.

L2 is all about the grind.  You will grind for levels (actually the really fun part), grind for materials, grind your crafting etc. 

You are lucky your guild is helping gear you up, if you had to earn it all you could easily expect to take 1-2 years to earn the adena to pay for everything by time you get to upper levels. 

Most people reach these heights by playing long hours (6-12 hrs a day is not uncommon), play 2 or more accounts, and some even cheat by using bots to level up.  Also, many folks buy their adena from the adena farmers market because grinding for it truly is time-consuming.

Point is, I'm not sure your mindset is cut out for L2 (mine wasn't, and I left a long time ago). 

Think of playing L2 as sort of joining the Marines, while WOW is more of an Explorer troop.

Ppl keep giving me advice on making money. They mostly say farm this this this... Only then noone buys my stuff even if it's underpriced.

Other thing i've heared is get crystals and sell ss. Only problem with that is it doesn't involve playing and involves an investment. The profit part is slow too.

Then there's playing the market. I don't wanna put money on things i don't know if they'll sell. Not with my luck at selling.

What else have i heared? Scam ppl... Meh. Level to 61+ then kill mobs. Meh.

It's not about the actual money i'd make. I'm set for a while and i can handle using lower level gear. It's just the satisfaction you get when your work pays off. It just doesn't sell.

there is one way to make fast money in L2 .. over enchanting.

other then that nothing is fast when farming for adena.

i used to keep a close eye on the market so i buy from people that are selling weapons armor cheaper then normal and then set up store at night with those items at a normal price range.

example of this is when someone is spammin giran chat because they most likely need money for new gear and are in a hurry to get it. people allways lower the price to they can move on to the next gear set.

You quit because of Game Guard ? Sorry, but thats just funny.
