Silvarch, Adventurine doesn't have to live up to your standards.  You can put them down if it makes you feel like a big man, but they'll move at their own pace as they've done all along. Obviously they don't have any pressure on them to put this game out.  *which is a good thing* because pressure makes developers release unfinished product.

So whether or not you agree with their business plan doesn't matter. When you start your own business you can run it however you please.

Clearly, unless, of course, it's ends up a publicly traded company or corporation.

Now in the second paragraph you imply that whatever they choose to do on their own volition is OK, because their decisions are their decisions to make, which would mean that you believe that moving at their own pace as they've done all along is acceptable, right? Am I correct in my assessment?

My point is saying that it doesn't matter what I view as acceptable or what you feel is acceptable.  Being pissy about it isn't going to make them release faster.  If the game releases I'm still going to play it.  Why make a fool out of myself because the company is taking their time?

Whatever they choose to do is good by them, and nothing I can do short of becoming a developer and working on the game myself is going to move this game along.

Besides, how I look at it is even if DarkFall doesn't release in its current form, some company will probably end up buying it and finishing it.  I'm not in any rush to play it right away anyways.  I've still got spore to look forward to.

Noted, understood and agreed upon.

Now, I understand the futility, but do you find it acceptable or not?

You implied that he said it was acceptable, he never said that or implied that.

You are telling him that two wrongs dont make a right which was not even close to what he was saying so yes it was wrong, yes you are trying to infuriate someone, the poster.

I call you a troll because you took the part of his post that best fit into your personal view on Darkfall and posted something that had nothing do with his post.

 Its doesnt matter if I or anyone else think its acceptable or unacceptable.   Your OPINION that it is unacceptable is fine and is correct in my opinion as well but it still doesnt change the fact that the Darkfall team believes its acceptable.

Why does everyone hate polarization? I think he normally does a good job of putting information out there.

Plus i have never seen this info before so it was news to me.

I have no problem with polarization.  I think more people on these forums need to be like him. 

What I mean by that is to keep an open mind when it comes to Darkfall.   He someone times goes the way of the troll and then others he comes across as a supporter. 

I am a supporter of the the Darkfall Concept but that does not mean I care if that concept is called Darkfall or some other name with the same feature list.

What part of his post did I take? What's my personal view on Darkfall? You seem to abscribe some implications to my post that I never literally said, yet I can't do the same for his, funny how that works.

Maskedweasel, do you believe my post was inflammatory or written with the intent to infuriate you?

Did you imply it's acceptable for them for do as they please regardless of our personal standards or wishes, because we obviously have no say on the matter nor do they owe us anything? It's not a matter of who's right, it's a matter of having a clear opinion and me disagreeing with it. It just irks me that I'm called a troll because I do so.

Funnily enough, I am a supporter, I want Darkfall to come out and be successful so I can play it, yet you call me a troll because I'm not willing to lower my standards of trust or management to the level of the bulk of those who would take everything about Darkfall and Aventurine for granted, because I'm not so emotionally vested in the game that I am willing to accept unsubstantiated claims matter-of-factly. You don't want an open mind, you want faith.
