Functionless Art is Simply Tolerated Vandalism...

I've been plowing through my diplomacy quests and suddenly I hit a brick wall. After I leave Lomshir I start getting slapped with quests that require level 5 in diplomacy but 50 domestic presence!!! Most of my items are low level and only add maybe +13 of one presence. Whats going on with diplomacy? Are these quests bugged???

A good site is www.vgtact.com it has a lot of info.  Basically you need to wait till you do enough civic diplomacy and get some info that you can turn in for better clothing.  Then you will be able to take up these quests.  Kojan has some good diplo quests and you can get an info satchel that is really nice from a quest there.

There's a huge barrier to entry in Diplomacy.  The quests are interesting but to be able to do them you have to grind out the civic diplomacy to get your presence up.  You can make it somewhat interesting by trying to bring up the civic buffs but be warned it's a lot of repetitive parleys and it's the heart of diplomacy game play.  Overall there are very few quests and very little in the way of content beyond the repetitive civic grind.
