Wait about 1 more year, let FC sort out all the problem, maybe it will be great than. Just look at AO and you will know....

buy it now, you will be horrified at all the bugs and high requirements (i think), if nothing interests you around 3 months later, you might consider trying this game again

I dont want 2 spend the time or the money on a game that is ! finished & it's pvp is far from finished.

I'll w8 4 3 more months or so, so see how FC deals with the problem and if the community grows.

Good advice here.

Unless you've some compelling reason to buy AoC today, I'd wait.  Why play a game with Potential(tm), when you can wait a relative short period and see if said Potential(tm) comes to fruition.  My guess is we'll have an indication where AoC is heading by the end of the Summer. 

Would you buy a car whose transmission was still being manufactured ?

I say wait a little while longer as the bugs are getting worse and worse right now with each patch.  Patching seems to be working counter-productively at this point, but hopefully they will release a miracle patch next week that fixes everything.  I say wait at least a week or two before getting it unless you are a slow leveler then you shouldn't have any problems. 

Levels 1-20 is really fun and is almost 100% free of bugs and that will take about 4-10 hours depending on what class you are and how intelligently you play the game.  Like they said, "combat is easy to pick up, but difficult to master". 

Yep as a few above have said I'd wait , give it 3-4 months .It should be in a tad better shape by then.

I wouldn't expect buddy keys until around that time anyway, So it could work out in your favor . Saving you from dissappointment and wasting money .

I would wait, I am seeing way more complaints that praise these days.
