Age of Conan

Several friends and I have noticed with each patch we crash more and more often.  Now I crash literally about 6-8 times a day if not more.  I want this part of the game fixed the most I think.

Depends how long I play. I tend to get an out of memory error after about 2-3 hours of straight playing. Though the red pings seem to gotten more frequent after this last patch.

Yeah I agree.  There are a lot more red pings for me as well.  At least those dont crash me out to desktop....

At this point I'm surprised to see so many 0's.  I wonder if those people play for longer than 2-3 hour periods?

Although I didn't, it's possible people just put zero to see the result. As I don't play I didn't want to corrupt the results by choosing an option.

Yup, tho not all the time during the week which is about 1/2hours in the evening, some day's even not at all, but weekends i mostly login for 4/6 hours, last night even 5hours and sorry no crash at all.

But about 2 or 3 patches back i did encounter a few CTD's, but havn't seen this happening to me personaly since like i said i think 2 or 3 patches back.

Well the zero should really be read as less than 1 a day.  I have maybe 2 or 3 crashes a week and I play 3 to 6 hours a day.

Edit:  I am counting the ping of death as a crash but in reality I just get logged out, not really a crash.  I have actually only experienced 3 or 4 true crashes since I started playing a few days after launch.

I do want to point out that my friends and I; ever since that last patch they released we have been crashing about double the amount of times. 

Does anybody else get the bug when you port into a zone (in particularly Laceish Plains) it just doesn't load and you have to reboot your computer and rezone again in order to make it load?

I saw a post a few days back saying  when this happens, you are receiving Updates in the background which can cause hangs in zone loading . It has happened to me twice in the last 2 weeks .  When I restarted the launcher each time I did receive an update.

However , I have no proof that they were related. Other than that DEV announcement. You can find it on the official boards , I don't remember what section it was under though ,sorry.

So can i turn off that update in the background thing somehow?

I wish I knew , I haven't seen an option however.
