Darkfall

I just watched the darkfall video of sites and citys over at darkfallonline.com

I think it looks pretty amazing and far from vaporware. Im looking forward to see more videos from them of combat and character creation.

Everything about this game looks amazing, and everyone here wants it out ASAP.  The problem is some of them have been wanting it for like 6 years now and have been repeatedly lied too.

Actually its only been like...3 months since the last video and there's another one coming out this month.

As for the graphics, they look great for a game that focuses on real time combat and massive battles. Graphics can't be too great or the lag would kill the core of the game. The movement animations and bits of detail are great though. You can even see a tree engraved in the back of that plate shirt.

"We've started collecting in-game footage for a video update which is taking a while being low in the immediate priorities list, but moving along."

"We’re looking at releasing a comprehensive video sometime in the next few weeks."

Not to mention a new video was shown at the Greek Gaming Convention Aventurine attended.

Thats cause it was a location test video. If you look at any of the other videos or screenshots there are NPCs, monsters, camps, combat, sailing, sieging, ect ect.

Why is it so hard to make a game video?  I mean there have been videos of Warhammer from beta testers leaked on You tube.

It shouldn't take 3 months to "put a video together" when any joe schmo on the interenet can make a video.

So far I have seen one video of actual gameplay and to be honest I didnt see anything revolutionary or new.

It will be interesting to see what happens when/if this game is released.

That’s strange because I’ve watched every video they have released many times and I’ve never seen NPC’s, Monsters, camps, sailing or sieging

Those video's look like absolute crap. Some are just screenshot slidewhows.

What were you smoking when you watched them?
