Open-RvR: WAR IS EVERYWHERE! (RvR everywhere...in PvE zones as well)

Core-RvR: WAR IS EVERYWHERE IF YOU ARE FLAGGED! (RvR only in the RvR zones, but if you are flagged in a PvE zone you can be attacked.)

RP, no contest really. More so since we get a surname,

I really hate to think of the useless name choices that the refugees from wow/aoc pve/pvp servers will come up with.

Like today for instance I had the misfortune to be grouped with a pally tank called robonator, Robonator is actually a very good name for the average wow pve servers....

I hear ya. Even the RP servers in WoW are a mess. I love to RP and I am hoping and praying there is less griefing and more rule enforcement. My policy is if you aren't griefing or being immature, you are welcome on a RP server. Otherwise you will be written down on a piece of paper and reported to a GM/Mod/Whatever.

does the "chicken" rule still apply in open RvR? if so I hope they have a few hardcore servers without chickens. I think its a great approach to grievers but I don't mind getting grieved as long as I can eventually do it in return.

The problem with wow's rp server's is the gm's have their hands full with banning the goldselling bots that spring up every 2 seconds.

They simply dont have the time to vet legitimate players, which is why you tend to see so many non-rp names.

The server's themselves are more more painless to play on, you just get far more mature folk there. I'm sure its the same for all mmorpg's.

id assume so, and god i hope they dont, I just want open RVR in a around my lvl zone. Ofcourse even if they dont have a gank server you can do it in tier 3, since the chicken is only in tier 2 and 1

Also on a Side note, they are yet to say if a Open RVR server will be out during release.  I hope so, this game is to pvp centered to have it that restricted. RVR zones in that form should just add extra things to do .
