The folks at The Chronicles of Spellborn have posted the first installment in a series of features which looks at the timeline of TCoS.

The world of The Chronicles of Spellborn, as you will be able to experience it yourself in-game, is the result of a long chain of cataclysmic events and almost forgotten stories. In this new feature we will reveal some of these key moments of old along with all the protagonists involved in this troubled past.

Each week, you’ll be introduced to a new period of the timeline, accompanied by concept arts and details on the main items of said period.

So grab yourself a cup of your favorite beverage, and hit the “Read More” button below for the first installment of this Spellborn Timeline, named "The Great Collapse".

Read more here.

If this game comes out on time it coudl be a huge darkhorse success.  Would be perfect timing, just as AoC is crashing, and people waiting for WAR are disgruntled.

That was a rehash of old information. The only thing new in there were the two pictures of the interior of the new house of Torque. It has been very silent around that game lately. I hope E3 will bring news of their US publisher and then maybe the advertising will start?

My guess is, this is a 2009 title.  I expect a delay announcement probably in early fall.  Would not be so bad for them, the AoC crowd will be bored out of their mind and the War groupies will be whining all over the forums about all the content and lore Mythic left out.  (Going to be laughing at them, no developer has a tenth of the time needed to include such a large genre into a game, especially at release).

I am going to try this game, it is the first one in a while that has far less emphacis on classes.  I get so tired of my character being limited by strict class guidelines, this could be the refreshing change many of us are looking for.

Hopefully we will find one company that can pull a good game off and this will be it.
