The Real biggest change in 7-17 patch

Inifinite Knockdown and Stuns.

Combos takes effect even the combo doesnt finnish, so every combo can be cancelled before the last second, to prevent the cooldown cost. Which means every combo can be recasted without it's cooldown.

All class balance have gone out of the window. Everyone in pvp servers are going crazy knocking down and stun locking.

How can a patch be release without noticing such a major mistake in their mechanics. Their staff simply dont have strong knowledge of the actually mechanics of their game and tries to implement quick fixes without testing them with ppl who actually plays the game. 

Until the game is fixed, there is current no balance in the game.

A Major mistake due to inexperience on Funcom's part at the cost of the subscribers.

I forgot to mention the perma invisble players that are also running around killing players after the patch.

This is hell of a intresting patch that introduces more game breaking bugs then it tries to fix.

yep.

found that one out within minutes of playing..

i was on the fence about going another month of subscription on the game..

i think this patch really just pushed me off the fence.. this company seems to have no competence. i mean honestly... how do you let that happen? how? no funcom, your PAYING customers are NOT your BETA TESTERS.... sigh.

i think i gave the game a fair chance, 2 months of playing, one lvl 80, a 77, and multiple others in the 30/40's..

this isnt worth coming back to for at least a couple of months.. when theyve reduced the amount of patching from twice to once a week.

When I check back here regularly looking for good news that the game is improving I read stuff like this for every patch and I don't know whether to cry or laugh.  I guess I'm just glad I canceled to give them time to fix things. If I'd renewed for another month I'm sure I'd be crying not considering laughing.

I just hope it isn't as bad as it seems and that people playing it aren't totally demoralized.

oh dont get me wrong.. ive had fun playing it for a while

the incompetence just gets to you eventually.. because you are actually paying for this.. and i dont think anyone wants to pay money for a game that looks like its getting broken every other patch

Dunno what its going to take for folks to realize that the problem with Funcom is they just don't have much talent. If you don't have a skilled workforce, you're going to have less than desirable results. That's all it comes down to really. Give that game to a developer with a huge talent pool and an attention for detail and both AO and AoC would've produced different results.

How about this from US forums:

"This doesn't make any sense, why are daggers slower than polearms and 2h edged? Is this the way it is supposed to be, or did they mess up? I don't see how this could be intended."

According to that thread 2H are 30% faster now.

I have to agree with this. Every patch messes something up, it's really kind of funny at this point. I mean invisible people. Really? Invisible people. Where is the QA? Who tests this game?

The question now is what do to about such a massive exploit. Join the bandwagon and farm epic bosses with 2 ppl, or wait until they fixed the bug to play pvp again. I heard ppl in guild are already macroing the cancel delay into their g15 keyboard so they can perfect their cancel for infinite CC, personally I dont see a need for macro, is so easy to time already. But i could imagine if they were to farm epic bosses, the margin of human error after spendng a long time KD and stunning the same mob would be significant.

Confused at this point, not sure where to go with AoC, I am already very much bored with PVE in AoC, once you hit 80 there isnt much to do. And PVP now is kind of messy, is a question of who can chain stun or KD first.  There is still no PVP experince, even though the PVP experince bar is already added to the inteface, taking up screen space.

(PVP experince bar added, but you cannot get pvp experince, that is so typically Funcom style of work)
