I guess my question is..
Is if Jedi is the only class do you need an economy?? Jedi’s make their own weapon! And if bioware stays with what they do—you will get rewarded from doing quest or training. So being awarded with a new Jedi Robe doesn’t sound unreasonable or Jedi crystal for your lightsaber… You don’t need loot or money in this game. Make everything rewarded through quest.
EXAMPLE: Finish quest awarded Light saber crystal and new robe—(you don’t need anything else—and as you level you can decide where you put your skill points AKA wow type tree---Healing/Defence/Offence/DuelWielding etc)
When you think about it---All a Jedi needs—is a Robe,A Lightsaber, and healing from the force(stay alive)
So you don’t need any other weapons in the game, you don’t need any other clothing, you need no potions, health packs or anything like that….(Jedi's dont use that crap)
If you are going to make this only Jedi----you do not need a player economy—you do not need, crafters, potion makers nothing..

Just Jedi, light sabers and a Robe.. and Sith vs light---so when it comes down to it----when you max out your Jedi  all that should be left in this game is PVP sith vs light---I mean that’s what KOTOR was about right??
So we can expect a Guild Wars type of game—without any type of economy, loot or money
1.       Story driven(like bioware does)
2.       Max out your Jedi sith or light(start a guild)
3.       Arena matches sith vs light(guild vs guilds, free for all arenas aka PVP 20 people in one arena)

And that is it to this game nothing more nothing less… This is what I expect from reading all the post, and what every likes to point out about Bioware.

If you have anything to add or disagree please add your thoughts...

That does not account for:

1) Other gear (such as binoculars, thermal detonators, grenades of other kinds etc)

2) Armor/Clothing in a variety of forms

3) Vehicles/Spaceships

4) Food/Drink (which could of course be buffs etc)

5) Medical supplies (because even the Force can't always be there to heal everything)

6) Houses/Structures (if housing will be in the game).

Just to name a few things off the top of my head.

1.Why would you use them--or need them?? However, you can be given those items from the person you are taking the quest from?

2. All can be awarded through quest or PVP battles one.(However, following Star wars 99.9% all jedi wear is a ROBE)

3. May or May not be in the game more than likely an expansion---again parts for your ship/vehicles can be awarded trough quest(like Bioware likes to do story driven)

4. Why should you get buffs??? You’re a Jedi----

5. Not my problem---welcome to being a Jedi--a Jedi can heal themselves---and if you are dyeing group up with people when doing a quest  or a Jedi that has put more skill points in healing---again does this need to be in the game??

6.This will not be a sandbox---and they can make it where if you start a guild they give you a guild hall or something like guild wars does---so you can have meetings or something.

I understand that---again does this need to be in the game if it is Jedi only???

Do other clases to play belong in this game?? Most people say no!!!

Well, if you're going to say they award EVERYthing through quests, obviously, you don#t need an economy. But what game does that? o.O

It's theoretically possible. It's also highly unlikely.

Even sandboxes have fundamental rules such as; "Don't eat the cat poop, you'll die."

There is still crafting that would fuel the economy.  Jedi have to make their lightsabers and robes.  I'd imagine they would have to obtain rare materials for more advanced robes/handleparts.  KOTOR 2 had a lot of different parts involved in crafting a lightsaber even though it wasn't made by bioware.
