Darkfall

I don't see it being darkfall either, probably Warhammer. Which, if it is, I don't get the big deal they're making out of it.

Thats why i cant believe its WAR, its not a game that breaks the MMO mold or brings anything new to the table, its just simply ANOTHER game.

It has to be something new, we arent expecting.

Agreed.

I think it is WAR.  If you notice the First letter for the 29th blog entry and the first letter for the 31st blog entry (today was the second blog for past RTS games).

That means it can't be Darkfall.  Since the game is not something tremendously huge. 

I still say that it is Warhammer (since the huge thing would be fileplanet users getting into the open beta)  But there are three other possibilites:

From most likely to least likely:

1.  Wrath of the Lich King.  Really the only thing that is huge and entering beta other then Warhammer.
2.  Knights of the Old Republic Online - very unlikely since it probably hasn't even entered the Alpha stage yet but they could be farther along then we know. 

3.  Least likely but a possibility is Mines of Moria from Turbine.  Darkness could be refering to the mines and the Balrog.  I say less likely because I don't think there is going to be an open beta for an expansion but Turbine did use Fileplanet for Lord of the Rings.  

I know the fans here think of Darkfall as a big upcoming game but Fileplanet is about as mainstream as you get.  They wouldn't consider Darkfall a big deal and wouldn't hype it at all.

I'm sure you're right.  Hehe.  I wasn't even sure I had the name right.  I looked it up, though, and there's not enough on it yet for it to be something "big".  WAR seems to be what people deem the most likely and it's been in closed beta for some time so maybe it's about to go open or something.

Darkfall was said FOUR times. Did you notice that Dark has 4 letters and Fall has 4 letters? They say if you say Darkfall in front of the mirror 4 times on 4 occasions within 7 years that the game will appear behind you!
 

well since everyone is speculating I might as well..

It could be TCoS,I mean it is still being targeted as a 2008 fall release and wasnt the video from within temptation something about darkness,hell been so long cant remember..and they do use the catch phrase what is hidded must be found,hell that could mean darkness,mah clutching at straws here...
