Are you 25 or older? Then I hope we're the guild for you. |

Ermmm when you say 25 years or older- you are stating that age=maturity.....Believe me thats not true..... I am 19 going to 20 but I consider myself far more mature than my fellow gamers.....Even my guild in WoW agreed to that. I have recently bought factions and plan on buying EOTN next month so if your guild makes an exception for some young but mature players I would love to join. P.S : My WoW guilds average age was 25-35. |

Just out of interest, how do you play on verifying that members are indeed over 25? |

I also wondered that. And as a response to snowytechna: I'm not sure that they made the connection age=maturity it may also be, even though quite unlikely, that they want older players just for the sake of them being older. Sure it may sound stupid, but remember that they maybe watched older TV programs than you and can discuss them and such. However I've never been much of a fan of guilds requiring a certain age, probably due to my own age. |

Hi guys, Firstly to Snowytechna, unfortunately there are no exceptions to the age limit as that is a cornerstone of the TOG way of life. TOG are not only into Guild Wars, but span around 30 different games of varying genre's. The age limit is there for all the games. Lydon, as to how we police the 25+ limit, you have to post on the public forums first before you are granted full access to the private TOG forums and guild acceptance. The post needs to include info about yourself and you also have to read and agree to various rules and regulations and state that you will abide by them. One of the things in them is that you are 25 or over. If it is discovered that a person is under that limit, they are removed from the guild after thoroughly being investigated by the admin and mod teams. So basically we rely on your honesty.
Cheers

Therefore, age does not = maturity. Sure it may in many cases, but as you just said it doesn't in all, therefore the initial equation is true. |
