I know the servers are sparse but what is the most populated server right now.

I also play on Seradon and the general chat on Kojan, supposedly the least populated area in the game, is always (prime time) full of people chatting away.

oh nice. i made a ranger on thalia. and plan on making a monk on kojan and possilby a psionicist in that third continent.

im really liking the game so far.

glad i joined after the performance updates and such because its running just fine on medium for me and i have a middish ranged comp.

I just installed again cuz I guess I still have free time, It said it was up at 7/31 but Im still able to log in. I used to have a crap computer now I have a  E8400, 4 gigs of ram and a 4850 and I can run this game max settings and Im gettin 40 fps average.  I havent been to any big cities yet  so Im sure that will slow my fps.

Anyone know any tweaks to get more fps that wont really lower quality that much?

Do you need more fps?

Anyway I run with slightly worse hardware then you and get about 40-60fps on highest settings. Windowed mode 1440x900 or close resolution, getting about the same fps running fullscreen at 1680x1050. I have though recently replaced the mainboard and after a reinstall of everything got better fps on same settings.

I would check to see if any other programs makes the fps getting higher after closing them.
Station launcher, Side panel, different themes in Windows and ATI control panel are a few things that I have noticed that reduced fps while running. But that seems to be intermittent.

Well more fps would be nice you can never get enough of those.lol   But yeah it runs smooth, Ive gotten low as 35 and high as 80.  Does fraps have a way i can see my  average fps? If not is there a program that can do that?

I got my processes down to 15 running so there isnt much more I can do about that. But anyways Im very happy the way the game is running so far.  I wish more people would give this game a try, I enjoyed it at launch except it ran like crap on my old P4.  Mayby I can talk my cousins in to quitting WoW with me and start up this game. lol
