So which class type do you think will be lacking the most?

You probably should have made the poll class specific. I don't really think we will have a lack of anything if we're talking archetypes. |

Perhaps, but I have a feeling you would be surprised. |

While I am in the Beta along with you thats not what I was referring to. Going back to previous Betas in other games people dont beta the class they want. Sure people may be playing tons of tanks or healers in beta but in retail they will go with the tried and true melee or ranged DPS. or vice versa, that is what I meant. I haev a feeling whiel alot of people will be playing chosen at first because of how cool they look they wont play them for long because they dont want to be a tank type class. |

To be quite honest the most lacking type will be RDPS.
There is going to be an abundance of Chosen, Shaman, Witch Elves, Black Orcs and other highly popular characters. However, most people that want to be a Dark Elf will want to be a Witch Elf or Disciple of Khaine. Everyone that want to be Chaos will likely be more attached to Marauder, Chosen or Zealot. Most who like Greenskins will be more attached to the Black Orc or Shaman. |

I fail to see how tanks will be useful in PvP combat. If they are heavily armored, but don't do much damage, won't people just ignore them till last when they can no longer be healed, then kill them? If they don't have DPS output closer to a CC DPS class, I fail to see their non-PvE use, therefore I'd be surprised if there were a surplus of tanks. |

If I knew anything about how the game works, I'd assume that Tanks can do pretty decent damage with a two-hander. Not comparable to say...MDPS, but respectable enough that ignoring them would be dangerous. I'd also assume that Tanks have some sort of mechanics to make hard on people who ignore them and go for the others.
This is of course assuming I knew how the game works. |
