Ok i don't expect to run at superspeed, but when i played DAOC i felt like i was running around with lead boots on.  How is s running speed and travel handled in this game.

thanks

Normal movement speed does feel a tad slow especially while running from one end of the map to another. Flee feels just a little bit faster. There are flight paths from zone to zone, which makes travel a bit easier.

Luckily, there's no call to backtrack much, but run speed does feel slow. I'm also curious if you get mounts. I think you do, but I didn't see any information or ways to get one.

mounts are first acquired at level 20 and cost 30G of course the price is subject to change. I think they increase your speed by 50 percent. I didn't really pay much attention to the buff icon so I could be wrong. However, they do help a lot just like in any mmo and are definitely nice to have in the larger RvR lakes.
