The inventory Paper Doll does odd things with certain equipments.  Either it turns sideways or looks like your riding an invisible mount.

Fall damage is bugged.  You are better off jumping down a long distance than you would be to just fall.  It seems as though fall damage is calculated on the time it takes to hit the ground.  When you just fall from a high place it takes your character a while to reach full fall speed where if you jump your reach max fall speed from the start.  (I know it sounds odd but thats how it works)

Getting stuck in the environment is very common.  Do not jump on fences, lamp posts, carts, chairs, tables, or anything of that manor or you are more than likely going to be stuck.

There are a few movement bugs that need to be fixed or they give a player the upper hand in an RvR situation.  One of them is possible on land, the other in water.  I will not go into detail of how to do these.

There are still no graphic settings in game, only those to change shadows and lighting and some minor spell effect changes.  There are no options for clip plane and this is why some of the environment shots are bland.

Crashing to desktop was never an issue for me, though when it does happen it is mostly due to a memory leak within the game that if played for excessive amounts of time the game will eventually crash.  The playtime seems to be around four hours or greater.

Server stability is another issue.  Zones randomly crash in game, however, this has lessened greatly.

Another issue with server side problems is ability lag.  Every once in a while the server will fall out of sync with the abilities being used and you will get an error saying "the ability is not ready" and it will rest the refresh timer.  This again has been greatly reduced.

Collision detection does have a few problems where you can become stuck on people or stuck inside of them.  Generally if you jump around and continue moving you will be set free.  Collision detection is a great thing to have in PvP as you can block other PCs from running away, but they can also do the same to you.

There are a lot of character clipping issues most of which involve cloaks and weapons.

I think I covered most of the problems I can thing of now.  If I do remember some others I will come back and repost.  Now you can't say I am lying about the game and covering up the problems.

Holy.... I knew the game still had work to do but there is no way in hell they can even clean up 20% of the issues they have before launch. You didn't even include the features that aren't implemented yet like Talisman Crafting and AH...

This sound like another way too buggy mmo release

This is why I was pushing for them to delay the game.  I argued that a pushback wouldn't hurt the game (the other pushbacks didn't so why would another be different?).  So trying to put it out before WotLK launches is what probably led to their decision.

i personally enjoy the game. I've CTD only once since they patched the problem and my rig is a dinosaur. obtw since the op wants to talk about wow being so polished and stuff try and google wow patch archive and go look at the first few patches they released. every game is buggy and wow was no exception.

Its ok, I didn't want to play with you anyway.

Talisman crafting was temporarily removed from beta as it was easily exploitable.  You also have to remember they have a full MONTH to do anything.  Do you think they will just sit around and pick their noses for 30 days?  Of the items that I listed the only detrimental issues is server stability.  Everything else is easily ignored.

(I know it sounds odd but thats how it works) Yeah this is one thing i havent figure out yet. You could jump down some areas and be perfectly fine, but fall from a distance of 10m of you are dead

Getting stuck in the environment is very common.  Do not jump on fences, lamp posts, carts, chairs, tables, or anything of that manor or you are more than likely going to be stuck. Pretty Much fixed at the advent of 3.3. I have not experienced any of this since then. Even when ressing in a scenario and people would get stuck together doesnt happen anymore

There are a few movement bugs that need to be fixed or they give a player the upper hand in an RvR situation.  One of them is possible on land, the other in water.  I will not go into detail of how to do these. I haven't seen these movement bugs other than you go slower in water...please explain...i have been in ebta for 8 months..haven't witnessed this

There are still no graphic settings in game, only those to change shadows and lighting and some minor spell effect changes.  There are no options for clip plane and this is why some of the environment shots are bland. Acknowledged, but graphics are the easiest thing to code. YOu don't have to worry about interaction or gameplay design for these.

Crashing to desktop was never an issue for me, though when it does happen it is mostly due to a memory leak within the game that if played for excessive amounts of time the game will eventually crash.  The playtime seems to be around four hours or greater. As of 2 days ago, this has pretty much been abolished, and there is even an exit poll on how well it has been fixed and how well server stability has been fixed. Personally they did a great job. I havent had a CTD in the last 2 days i played, where previously i would get them every hour

Server stability is another issue.  Zones randomly crash in game, however, this has lessened greatly.  Fixed..see above

Another issue with server side problems is ability lag.  Every once in a while the server will fall out of sync with the abilities being used and you will get an error saying "the ability is not ready" and it will rest the refresh timer.  This again has been greatly reduced. This is not lag..this is latency. And and this happens to me only when there are a huge amount of players on the screen....>100. Hopefull this will be addressed. This is the only real issue still remaining in my eyes

Again graphical and minor

Or it sounds like a closed beta where they simply haven't implemented features they didn't want to test yet. I can't comment on talisman making as, even though drops are in game, we didn't get to actually test the crafting portion. All that is in game so far is apothecary. Does this mean it's the only crafting in the game? No, it just means it's the one they want players to concentrate on and test. Personally, I feel crafting is simply something they tacked on, but hey....it's useful to make your own potions. Not sure what talismans will have to do with anything, but it might be to fit into slotted equipment.

Getting stuck in the environment does happen a bit too frequently for my taste, but it does seem to be easier to jump out of it now. They do have an implementation of /stuck, but it logs you out and when you come back in, you're in a unstuck spot nearby. I don't really like this, but I can see how it is a method of keeping it from getting exploited, though I can see the possibility of exploits using it another way. I'll have to test it out.

Right now is honestly not the time to judge a game, as it hasn't been released. This is still a closed beta release and a lot of stuff is simply not implemented in it. Check back with the preview weekend and see how it has changed then. That's when they'll actually show off the game.

You have valid points and concerns. But we cant judge a newly released game based on "the bugs". Im not even flaming AoC because of that.

keep believing it's released, and you might ever discover the intention of beta's...

Personally, I would take immersion over graphics anyway.
