WAR (Warhammer Online)

Started as a Dark Elf naturally and all I can I is that it was hard questing for the 1st 2 hours of the game with so many people (thats a good thing of course) doing the same quests.

I kept telling myself this is only a preview, but out of the gates people in the game did'nt treat it like that. I can only imagine when servers go live on Sept 18th. I never saw so many DE packed into a single area.

After the 1st initial hour, I wanted to create a Shaman, when I logged out of my realm to see how the population on the other servers were, they were all pretty maxxed 1.5k to 2.1k and this was just the 1st hour of the preview weekend. (So far I only say 7 servers I believe at 8am EST)

Needless to say I went to create my Shaman on my server and what do you know, I am in a QUE to get into my server. It only took about 3 minutes to get into but was even more surprised to see how many people were running around as Orcs and Goblins.. It was a awesome sight.

The Public quests in both areas looked like a Mosh Pit, there was latency, but wasnt too bad, but still it got annoying.

Anyways, I have'nt had and Desktop crashes or bugs that froze the game in general. But then again, I only have been playing for 2 hours.

Im gonna try to get on later this morning. I played it a couple days ago and enjoyed the beta. If i dont get on its cool. It's good to let other ppl try it out that havent before. :)

Well got the server count as of now.

8 total with 1600 people on each server.

I can't login into any realm cause they all are full. (Server capacity test maybe?)

But you are right, its nothing big and I am glad as well other ppl are experiencing what we experienced in CB.

I made a dwarf engineer. The character creation had me worried (character creation graphics were pretty horrible) but after playing the actual game for a bit I'm very impressed.

Fluid animation (bouncing, movement), great graphics (better than WoW by a bit, but also very similar in style), and a well designed UI (best base UI I've used in a MMO so far).

This one is looking like a keeper.

Yeah played a little bit enjoyed it. Though theres no way to change video settings except resoluation I think they are on low they said. But yeah im not gonna play it all weekend dont want to ruin it for later : P

You had to have a pre-order key and download the client from fileplanet.

I believe they gave out 50k+ preview invites to people.

If you didnt make it into PW, then get your Pre-Order key by ordering the game so you can at least qualify for Open Beta on Sept 7th.

Crap, just drove to 3 different gamestops and they are all out
