Thanks Mythic for a great weekend. Now its time for me to settle down and start planning on how I can play this game without it affecting RL. Unlike WoW, this time I'll be prepared. |

Me too man, me too. Luckily I have distractions (rents coming to stay with me until 09/06), but as for the affecting RL thing at least this game can be fun from the start for short periods. I negotiate with my wife 30 minute massage for 2 hrs play time. 2hrs in WAR is like 2hrs of lovely greatness. With other MMO's it's like you can just get rolling, and barely have fun. I am still calling in sick 9/15 and 9/16. I am going to be a wreck those two days. I will be practicing for the next couple of weeks how to take an effective 3-5 minute shower, and how to clean up the house in 5-10 minutes in the most effective manner where it looks like I did hours of work. I have gotten pretty damn good. |

I was hoping for a summer release as I am a teacher and September is always a terribly busy month. But I think that if I don't give homework those few days, I will be ok! |

I didn't tell my wife that WAR was closed for two weeks. I figured I'd earn some good-will points whenever she asks 'You going to play your game?' and I reply with 'No. Lots to do around the house'...or..'No I just want to spend the time with you.' (Of course I'll be working out gameplay/tactics in my head but she'll never know! HAHA!) |
