The folks at Fallen Earth have announced that female characters have gone through a series of upgrades and are now complete and in the game.

In an announcement today, Fallen Earth released the final round of female character developments, including upgrades with re-texturized armor and clothing and advanced rendering techniques such as per-pixel lighting and specular highlights. With male character developments completed in mid-July and a tentative content complete date in mid-September, this is another sign for MMO gamers worldwide that the Apocalypse is indeed coming.

“We provide the best experience for our fans by giving players many high quality choices for customizing their characters as much as they like,” said Steve Coyle, Art Director for the independent LLC. “We also want to make game play as real as possible, and our characters have to reflect that.”

Great improvement!  The game is coming along very nicely.  (It had better, I've been following it for 4 long years)

One thing I might suggest though, is [Fallen Earth Beta Invite Required to View], and I really feel that if you implement those few changes you could guarantee a success!

We also want to make game play as real as possible, and our characters have to reflect that

they kind of fail at this because in this aftermath game you dont have to worry about food or fresh water which makes an aftermath game MUCH less realistic and focuses on the pew pew combat  instead of a fun and chalanging reality. its again catering to the  console shoot em up gamers.

make a world, not a game, we dont want another game.

Wow!  Like night and day imho...  The entire overall look is much improved.  The old look had more of an over the top comic-book villian style to it.  These new one's have a much more realistic take.

Good job guys!

This is really nice looking.

This game is now on my radar where before I hadn't really even given it a 2nd thought.

Boredom is in the temperament of the beholder.

Wow. They've nailed it. Best MMO character graphics ever.
