Hey Guys/Gals,
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a definitive answer with proof whether the Open Beta client will be useable (via upgrades) at retail. I have a download limit on my line of 10 gb's and Im loathe to burn up all the limit (plus a little over) on a client which will be useless in 5-7 days. Ive been trying to find some evidence regarding this from Mythic but havent come across any, and my friends have conflicting views on whether you will be able to update the client or not come release. So therefore I'm asking you guys for an answer which will hopefully clear this problem up. Regards,

One of the blogs or interviews said there would be a 'fair' amount of times (days) that the game client from the betas would work while folks got their retail copies after the 18th. While it seems unlikely that the Beta will 'stop' after a set period of time, I personally intend to uninstall the Beta once the discs come in (when I have some free time from Real Life Stuff...I am certainly not going to give up valuable GAME TIME to re-install!) |
