Aion should run fine on both cards. I think its hard to tell difference running high end card on a mmorpg (except AoC). Most MMORPG graphic engine dont require the best pc to perform well.

Try to find benchmarks for other games using the Crytek engine. Then you will know.

The CryEngine or the CryEngine2? There is no explicit Crytek engine.

I'd benchmark with CryEngine original, since it's a better representative of Aion, and the CryEngine2 crushes machines like toilet paper.

It's well known that the X1950XTX was far better than any of the Nvidia 7 series, it comfortably beat the 7900GTX and also beat the 7950GX2 because of abysmal driver support on Nvidias behalf.
