My first MMO was Ragnarok Online, way back during alpha testing. It's not a bad game, just not my cup of coffee anymore. |

My first MMORPG was Asheron's Call 2. It was really my first MMO experience, and I really enjoyed it for about 3 months. However, even though the game itself was exciting and I really enjoyed many aspects of it (Including mining), the players were my biggest shock. I just wasn't used to griefers, kill stealers, and generally annoying people in the game, and got so fed up with it that I just quit after a few months and didn't play another MMO for a few years. So, definitely not my favorite MMO of all time. My favorite MMO is definitely Planetside, had some great times in that even though its gone downhill in the past year. However, if your talking about MMORPG, sadly it would have to be SilkRoad online, better than EverQuest II in my opinion. Fun leveling system, plenty of players, good skills and loot, and best of all, the price is right! ~ Helios Isikari |

My first MMO was Everquest (1), and I hated it. I loved the art, I loved the cities, but the gameplay was just awful. The fact that they eventually put in a version of Tetris so you'd have something to do during the very frequent downtime says quite a bit about it. My second MMO, Asheron's Call (1), turned out to be my favorite. It's worth noting, however, that I played MUDs for about five years before Everquest, Ultima Online or Asheron's Call were ever released, and there are far more similarities between MUDs and MMOs than there are differences. As a result, most of my likes and dislikes about online gaming were formed long before I ever logged into a massively multiplayer game. |

Anarchy Online This was my first MMORPG experience. I was lucky to have made a bunch of friends who I miss to this day. I've yet to find another game that has sucked me in like AO did before the expansions. |
