Try the 14 free day trial for DAoC. I beta tested this game, played a month after launch quit due to a real clunky ui and NPC subsystems. I recently came back and got all the expansions, including the toa expansion and have not had a more fun time in an mmo since the first days of EQ when I was running from NFP to Qeynos and having my jaw drop at all the cool stuff I saw. Give it a try, its free and worth it. |

Most of us are bored of all mmorpg's out right now if I wasn't I would be playing right now, you can try betas I guess if you haven't already, as for me well i'll just sit tight and wait for a new game to come along. |

Well there are a bunch of trials for mmos, one for DAOC, one for EVE, pretty soon when Chronicle 4 comes out for Lineage 2, they will probably have a buddy trial thing again, tons more!

Personaly I feel the MMORPG market is kinda in a slump atm. WoW still holds a tight grip on almost half the people, which is fine for those that still enjoy WoW, but for the rest of us, I feel there really isnt much to look forward to in the comming months. Too many companys seem to be jumping onto the MMORPG bandwagon afters WoWs success and they are trying to quickly pump out a product with no experiance in the biz, so all we are really getting is rehashed ideas that have no real depth to them...
Thats just my opinion though, and its rather cynical because I have been let down by the last 7 or so MMOs I played |

Dark Age of Camelot Epic Edition. It's just really excellent in every single way. Top notch graphics, fun quests and realm vs. realm PVP combat, plus a PVE endgame. What more could you want?

I'm playing EVE. There is nothing epic about that game for me, but it's honest, just a good game, not a money making machine like so many MMOGs nowadays. Waiting for Vanguard and Trials of Ascention. Not waiting for DnL anymore. |
