Lineage 2 wont work on my stupid computer I downloaded lineage 2 off the official website a few days ago and now I cant get it to work. I installed the game, patched it, and clicked start...nothing hapens. I clicked on the lineage 2 icon again and pressed start...nothing again. Every time I click the start button on the lineage 2 patcher, the patcher disappears but the client itself doesnt start up. Their customer support wasn't much help. It's been a while and I haven't gotten an answer yet . I haven't payed for the game yet cause I thought something like this would happen but if I can get the game to work then ill definitely pay . So anyone have any ideas as to whats wrong with it?

earth is full, go home

Possibly turn off one of the CPUs? Many games are still having issues with Dual Core or multi-processor systems.

Turning off a CPU Core:

Open your Task Manager.

When you see Lineage II (EXE) list in there, right click the program and go to "CPU Affinity"  Then just uncheck one of the CPUs.

Make sure you are doing this for the Lineage II client, and not just the launcher.  If the launcher works fine, taht isn't your problem.  There is a way to have different profiles for different games, but I don't know that off the top of my head.  I will look around for it.

I hope this helps!

yea i guess its not the CPU thing because my launcher works fine but the client doesn't. Could it possibly have something to do with my graphic card or any firewall settings ( which for some reason I cant access) . Also I just realized that lineage 2 isn't the only game that doesn't work for me. I have the same problem with Gunz Online.

Oops.  I don't think I was clear.

I meant, if it doesn't just die on your launcher, then your launcher isn't your problem.

Still try the CPU thing on the client as soon as you see it pop into your processes tab.  There are a few games that have this problem.

Oh, and by the way, it doesn't matter which core you turn off.  Just uncheck either of them.
