Well , I stopped play Gw after around 2000 hours of play, but I starte to play other MMORPG like RFO, Lineage2 etc..
And I moved back on GW, but is that me or the resolution and the texture are really bad? [ I got a nice computer and I put everthing on maxgraphic, but that still ugly] I mean by ugly; in outpost the other caractheres suck pretty much on the armor texture, but when you enter in a mission or in a pvp math resolution are better and the light effect make skin really more interesting... And some of the new armor like the ranger in nightfall, [ that an exemple because one friend was really happy and he said: Hey! Come into Guild Hall I will show my new armor, * with a big smyle* " when he was in GH, I took my mouse cursor on his armor " that make a little light on caracthere " I saw the cut, the cut of the image of the arm " the cut like if i saw how they create the piece of the the arm, and that seriously, ugly, if you wanna understand look this picture" of that ranger armor THERE LINK COPIE THEM TO YOUR EXPLORER: That the armor of the range I told up there, and its not the only one with some bad work, they seriously took us for stupid ignorant. http://membres.lycos.fr/ultimatboy/gw003.JPG That what I tell about in outpost the other players are in low resolution only our caracthere still nice. http://membres.lycos.fr/ultimatboy/gw002.JPG My questions are : 1- IS that a bug ?? Do you think they can change the graphique engine to make nicest resolution and nicest graphique ? If they make it for nightfall, can be with streaming power they could change the graphique of the engine." Its a dream .. i dont think so but if anybody got tips on that tell me them." That looks like the graphical settings for your graphics card. Try setting everything on "high" in Guild Wars graphical options, if that doesnt help then its some hardware setting you need to change. They have said there will be some effects/changes for Directx10 but they wont upgrade the engine to only Dx10 (meaning those with direct X 9 will still be able to play). ArenaNet only have Guild Wars, NCSoft is a publisher. The company working on Aion has nothing to do with ArenaNet. |

Well about the the graphic card its simple , a nvidia 7800Gt 256Mb [ with drivers 93.71 ] Nf4 Sli 6.86 International pack, directx 9 the last one. I dont think its something about setting but it can be... so I looked in Control Setting of nvidia and you say : 3d-settings, sry if im blind but i dont see any section or option about that. "I played a lot of game, without problem like I got with that game, I encounted some strange bug to when I was playing at Gw, like game crashing .. But that was in the past, I make a re-installation and that was, ok... " I precise, I play a lot of game who's asking more juice and power from the computer, and I can mention im on overcloaking statue actually, and it 100% stable. [ Im asking opinion on this forum about graphic, before telling and waiting for answer of Anet.] Like ass I said im technicien in computeur, I overcloack, for fun, but Im installing pieces of computer since 3year in a compagnie and making other application, so I tried to put more information like that, to say : im not a noob ^_^] The problem could be about drivers /software... Doesnt took in charge by the game " to new(rescent) " but its can be the only bad thing about driver or software. So I wanna see if you got idea about configuration I will try them. [ you can "PM" me if you dont want to spam the place to let other express their opinions. ] " If you could put image in game to, like ass I maked, in outpost and in guild hall exemple, that will be more irrefutable." it was like that for me too with huge blocks of textures instead of smoothness. and with updates it fixed itself just leave your game in the login screen for an hour or two depending on how long its been.

:P The Graphics problem has to do with your video card i know that with my video card (GeForce 8800 GTX 640 MB) That the textures are perfect for me xD. (I Also have DirectX 11.1 Beta that came with my GFX Card :P) also if it really is that bad for you that you need to post a topic why not upgrade your video drivers and also update your computers video card (Hardware) |

Correct, I have yet to see any connection between Anet (with the exception of GW-series) & any other title that NCSoft are publishing. In theory NCSoft could tell ArenaNet to dump GW & go work on other games, but that would be a waste of talent & money (Anet has only worked with/on GW). (Didnt bother to look up what companies NCSoft own since they seem to be limiting themselves to publishing only after Lineage 1). |
