Once I have chosen my role in the clan, and maxed out corresponding weapon skill (to 20), what is the point of getting more points? Or at some point some sort of advanced mastery opens (since the current pane is called 'Basic')?

you just have to wait. i think the other masteries will come along once Road to Dragon Chapter 2 is available.

there is some speculation around an "advance mastery" option later on but i dont think anyone is really sure right now

Most people say that there will be advanced masteries that will be later when the programmers at Acclaim put them in.
This is based on the observation that the original versions of the game already have advanced masteries coded into the game.
As such, most people are simply saying to save up the points so that you can jump right into the advanced masteries.

there will be advance,expert,master,grand-master (w gms of the game sayed that) thow expert,master,grand-master wont come near before 2008 |
