I got an email, saying "News for Star Wars Galaxies".

Then i come here and see something which isnt new, it is old.
Furthermore this is (at best) a reminder to SWG.

This is a classical advertisement - an add, not less.
(Is the game still alive?!)

Dear MMORPG, i dislike getting "Newsletter"-Mails for news,
when in real you send out mails about adds for SoE.

This is an abuse of the newsletterfunction and i want you to not repeat
such SPAM - or does SoE pays for this? Then add "ADVERTISEMENT" to it plz.

I wish these forums could attain a level of discourse that went beyond scatological references.  If you think Sony is crap, tell us why.  Otherwise you just look like a troll.  I don't care for Sony either, but at least I'm mature enough to make arguments instead of just namecalling.

As for SWG, if it's crap then all the other MMOGs must be crappier because I don't find anything in them worth paying $15/month for.  At least SWG allows me to do more than just the usual lame and tired gameplay which involves either endlessly killing animals, crafting weapons/armour or PvP.  I mean why must everything involve fighting - do game developers think we're perpetually 8 years old?  On the other hand, if you're representative of most players, since you managed to fit two examples of the word 'crap' into your seven word diatribe, maybe 8 is overestimating the mental age of MMOG players.

I think as most MMO's go, yes a explanation would be neccessary and I think everyone who is familar with SWG, SONY, is ready to give a lengthy discourse of the totally abismal handling of this MMO. I wouldn't knock the forums to much, just because your willing to dump good money on a bad company and an even worse mmo. If anyone needs to explane to you why the should be here very soon to enlighten you as to why SONY can never be trusted as a MMO provider. Add to that how disrespectfull of the SWG player base it is to destroy OVER half the exsisting character classes 3 years after lanunching the gameand you will maybe get the drift. I will never invest in anything made or marketed by SONY ever becuase of the debacle that is SWG.

So I wouldn't waist your flams on anyone over SWG, the game isn't worth it, the company isn't worth it, but if you like it all the power to yah.

If I actually believed it was worth my time, I would bring you up to speed on numerous posts, some authored by myself that discribes the ineptitude, lack of customer service, and total lack of integrity that SOE has shown the public on several occasions. However, it is not my responsibility to hold your hand and show you where exactly to reach for the light switch in the caliginous vacuum that you must percieve as a faint semblance that you may refer to as your intellect.
