Ok, I'm on the hunt for a really good F2P MMORPG that will really keep me on my seat for hours! So far, I've thought about enetering the worlds of:
FlyFF Tantra Online Rose Online Last Chaos Scions of Fate For FlyFF, I've heard about this game a lot from real life friends as well online friends. Looking at our ratings, its a pretty good game with above-average fun and community. I've heard about being able to fly and all that stuff. I also like the classes and all the types of attacks. For Tantra Online, Now, I'm leaning towards this game more and more everyday. First off, its a Philippine game, and yes, yours truly is a proud Filipino! I've been hearing so much about this game, I heard that it is loads of fun and that it has a huge player base. People back in the Philippines say that it's the New RPG Revolution, because a lot of people dropped Ragnarok Online and Counter-Strike to play Tantra. For Rose Online, Nothing much, I just like the concept, looks a lot like FlyFF. Other than that, I don't really have any other good reasons to play it, but it's still worth a try. For Last Chance, Looks like Lineage doesn't it? Looks pretty cool and the ratings are pretty decent. I've never played an MMO like this, so out of my list, this is my second pick, if not second to FlyFF. For Scions of Fate, I've also heard a lot about this game from real life friends. They say it's kind of like Ragnarok turned 100% 3D. The ratings aren't that bad, so it's still worth a try. So yeah, I need you guys' say on these games. I know some of you may say to look at the ratings and the reviews, but I need your sole opinions. Please help! Thank you. |

well, i guess i could do that, but i dont really wanna d/l 5 games for 5+ hrs each. maybe i could cut down my list to 2-3 then d/l those. what should be my top 3?
btw, that idea might take a long time, cuz i need some time to get used to a game before i can test a new one. |

the main reason to play(mmorpg) is for community(involves anything dealing with people). nearly all graphical F2P games have a bad one to start with, and then lack ant sort of focused subcommunities(guilds, houses, npc houses, ect).
when you're playing a game with people that you don't even want to talk to 80%-90% of the time. its not worth it... you have enough 12 year olds that act like 12 year olds, and 20 year olds that act that age in a P2P game. now add even more even less incentive to act maturely you kinda get a cesspool. so with out anyone you would want to play with in a F2P game that kinda leaves you with a single player game... and most single player games leave you with a good deal of fun. and considering you are playing MMO's that means you have a decent system meaning you play quite a few entertaining games. though if you want MMORPGs with a community you could play text based ones. I've personally messed around in the ironrealms.com games(they're a developer with 4 or 5 games out) |

ok, here's what I know of the games you mention... FlyFF: I read about it, personally don't like it Tantra: No idea of this one.. Rose Online: Heard of it, not interested in it Last Chaos: read the info on MMORPG.com, but don't think it's for me.. Scions of Fate: I'm playing this one... if you like martial art stuff, and don't know cartoon/manga looking character, this is a nice game... only bad thing is drop rate is really bad... (imo)
There are others, like if you want, Hero Online is an OK one too... same company as SoF (netgame) to do publish in US... hope these helps.. |
