Im looking at going to one of these conventions. Leaning more toward Dragon Con because my flight will be cheaper, but Gen Con seems more revolved around CRPG's. anyone here go to either of these that can give some feedback? Im taking my girlfriend and shes a sci-fi nut so Id like something that would cater to sci-fi as well as gaming. Shes a gamer, but not like I am. Shed rather spend hours editing stargate or firefly videos and put them to music than play MMO's, but we do both play the 360 I know a bit more about Dragon Con than Gen Con, so im biased toward Dragon Con unless theres something going on in Indy that Im not aware of like first looks at up-coming MMO's etc. |

If everyone else is waiting for Enigma I suppose I am too... I'm not sure why everyone should wait for him, but it's probably something cool. |

Oh well, we decided to go with Dragon Con. After doing some research on both I think this will be the best convention to cater to both of us :)

I went to Dragon*Con last year for the first time. It's pretty cool, but, there's not much in the lines of video gaming there. The parade was definitely interesting to see... I heard Enigma was actually in it, but I haven't confirmed that... |
