"it's been emotional"

im currently learning the basics of php etc...

i tried making a simple script... and i uploaded it to the www folder and tried to open it as localhost/time.php and it didnt work...

can anyone help?! if so pm me, i can provide the exact script i wrote so you can check for errors for me...?!

I've pm'd you, but for everyone elses benifit the big questions:

 

- Did you confirm that the PHP module was installed?  (make phpinfo.php and it should contain '<?php phpinfo() ?>', if you see tables of stuff all is good)

- If your uploading the script to a remote server then localhost isn't going to do you much good.  Localhost refers to the actual computer you are sitting at.  Unless upload means copied to.

I have solved my problem now, was something simple :D

Moving on...

Does anyone have any tips for someone who is just starting out in PHP and game programming?!Any good things to look at, places to look and go?!
