Would you rather see the bare minimum number of servers, all with high populations?

Or would you rather see entirely too many servers (as in WoWs case) most with low-medium populations?

Personally I would rather see populations that are very close to their cap. To me it makes the game more fun when there are tons of other people running around.  I know it makes questing annoying sometimes. For example having to wait for mob spawns...But from the sounds of the public quest system in this game that won't be an issue.  I think it might also make world-RvR more fun if the server is stacked...

Your thoughts?

I would rather see higher populations on less servers, your opinions are completely right, I think there are way too many WoW servers, though PvP isnt the biggest thing there, its also hard to find a decent guild/find a group on those low pop servers...the one downside (this is why WoW made so many servers, and i hope War doesnt have the same problem) is people getting angry about lag issues, do to the max pop and high ques, hopefully they have a reasonable amount of people allowed, and there servers are good, thus my fantasy would be fulfilled.

From my understanding Blizzard did not invest in the highest quality servers, and that was one of the reasons for a lot of the issues.  That information may prove to be untrue, but in any case I would love to see maxed out severs.

If I remember correctly they said they wanted 10,000 players per server. Which would be awesome. I suspect they would cap each side at 5,000 players as well.

I always prefer to play on highly populated servers, I learned my lesson long ago about the problems of lower pop servers, especially as the game ages.....

Also, I really think they should cap each faction side... to try and even out the populations between the two realms...don't want to see some of the inbalances that WOW had, especially since realm based combat is so important to this game's design.

If it is 10,000 that is just simply, brilliant. And yeah, all of the first WoW servers sucked hardware wise..they didnt upgrade until about a year later , and by that time, everyone was invested in there server already.

Give me a few high population servers over tons of low population servers any day.  I wonder how many of the current WoW servers would be considered ghost towns...

Im not too crazy about those extremely overpopulated servers.  I think medium sized servers are best for me.

I want their to be high pop servers, but I don't want lag or queues.

Basically, I want the highest population possible while still keeping things stable.

Hopefully their code will be up to the challenge.
