The team at UO Stratics has posted wallpaper of the original Ultima Online box artwork by Tim and Greg Hildebrandt. UO is approaching its seventh anniversary and many MMORPGers who cut their teeth on this venerable title remember their first time in Britannia with great fondness. This without a doubt makes me obscenely nostalgic. I remember that wallpaper when first installing Ultima Online (The First Age). I would stare at that installation wallpaper, drumming my fingers. Definitely good memories. -------------------- |

WOOT!!!! I've long been a fan of the Brothers Hildebrandt. I own an autographed print of the Fellowship of the Ring that is the centerpiece in my study. I loved that cover art on the old UO box. Guess what my PC screen looks like now.... Once again you've made me a happy Old Fart.
