The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Ive been playing CoX for a few months now.  Im not a power gamer only because my work hours wont allow it but I am going to get at least 1 character to lvl 50.  So my question is what is the endgame like in CoX?  By endgame I mean raids, community, zones, pvp, and anything else that comes to mind.  I love the game and I am hooked but I am a freak for good endgame content.  So whats it like?  I have a 29 mutation stalker atm with MA and Regen and he is the one I am getting to 50.

The end game in CoX is fairly nonexistant. There is a Hami Raid, a couple Task Forces and of course PvP, but that is about it. Oh for got the raid in thr RWZ on the Ship.

WTS - a clue. cheap.

I do not support stupidity or weakness. Sorry.

well, at your rate, you've got at least another 4 months before hitting 50 (perhaps a little more, getting to lvl 35 is about half the time and 36-50 is the other half).

there's a hami raid - bleh, don't do it.  hours for bleh.   maybe do it once.

there's the raid on the mothership, which can be fun.  you get lots of merits, that's for sure.

heroside, there's a ton of lvl 35-50 zones.  villain, you get well, st. martial, grandville, and now, finally rwz.  also, recluse's victory, for the pvp.  the first three all have various story arcs, and i believe a strike force each.

i11 should be out before you hit the 45ish range, and although i can't find where anyone has said a level range, it sounds like it'll either be lvl 1-50 or just high level (maybe another 35-50 thing), it all depends on how it's implemented.

there's also giant monster island, and the various GMs running around each zone.

paper missions to get you the occasional mayhem mission.  those can be quite fun, especially if you don't just bumrush the bank and leave.   fighting all throughout the mish is pretty fun and you get a bunch of different badges for being especially bad.

Sadness is but a wall between two gardens. -Kahlil Gibran

Those Mayhem missions are definitely fun if you have a destructive streak, and what villain doesn't? They're one of the few times where I actually feel like I'm a supervillain instead of just another wannabe bad guy. People screaming and running away, streets covered in shapnel and debris, burning buildings, the whole thing. I usually break down the cell doors in the police station just for the heck of it, too. I really love the way they've connected the mayhem missions for heroes and villains, also. The first time I did a hero mayhem mission, I giggled the whole way through it because I realized I was playing the role of [Insert Hero name] running down the bank hallway to stop the villain, and normally I'm playing the villain. Great stuff, though I'm not sure it really counts as endgame content.
