Either way, it's missed every single projected and even it's 'assumed' dates.

It's one thing to make fanboy rebuttals  , but making completely idiotic statements like that one you just made simply because someone pissed on your Darkfall parade by telling it exactly how it is , doesn't cut it.. 

Whether or not a title is vaporware is a matter of trust between the community and the developers.

For all we know, AoC/WAR/TcoS etc. could be vaporware. What if something crazy happens and the games are never released? You never know!

People don't call them vaporware because they trust the developers, they trust their intended release dates, their beta tests, their public showings, devs journals, podcasts, newsletters etc.

A large portion of the MMORPG.com community no longer trusts the DF devs because of missed date after missed date, unfullfilled promise after promise.

But there are those that still trust Adventurine and trust that DF will be released and well be glorious.

Point is:

There is no "right" or "wrong" answer.

Only when/if the title is A) cancelled B)released will there ever be a right and wrong answer.

Honestly, don't get your hopes up for Darkfall. It might be released, it might not, but one thing is for sure, it will be a while before we know. Do you still have your hopes up for Duke Nukem Forever? Oh yeah, Duke Nukem Forever just released a new trailer last month. Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for 11 years and still refuses to give any set release date for their product and has revealed no real proof. Darkfall is following closely behind with 7 years in development.

Anyways, do I think Darkfall is a 'real' game? Yes it's most likely a real game. Do I think Darkfall is everything they say it is? Nope, I bet it's nothing special and will turn out to be a major let down if it's ever released.

Go read the history of Darkfall, the promised betas, and the broken promises.

The funny thing, back in 2005 they (by mistake i guess) they said;'

"“Age of Conan – Hyborian Adventures” is scheduled for a Windows release in March 2008. The game won the Gamespot award as “Best MMO” of E3 2005, as well as being runner-up as the “Most Innovative Game of Show”."

They should have sticked to that. ..

wow thats alot mroe offcial dates than darkfall and peple still trust the devs xd but im sure it will release its a big company but there no player freedom in it its way tomuch zoning and instaces : / the combat system is how you see its just manula attack with dice roll like TR except TR has a TPS interface

Don't worry he isn't really leaving.  It would be nice if they actually released Darkfall. It's a little too early to call vaporware since they are still currently working on it, but i think it would be hard to believe they will actually fulfill all of their hype they have given it.
