Age of Conan

Already Pre-Ordered from Amazon since EBGames/Gamestop doesn't seem to have the Collectors Edition on their system.

Not to bad for $40 more. I've seen other collector sets rake in an extra $20 for adding in a mini action figure, so this seems like a decent deal.

There is also a video interview about the Collector's Edition as well as a little info about the game engine upgrade. I don't usually buy Collector's Editions, but this one sounds pretty good. Haven't seen any videos of the new build in action yet, but hopefully we will have something soon.

Currently Amazon has the Collectors Edition for Pre-Order, GoGamer.com has it too.

Everything sounds cool except that "Ring of Asheron". An in-game buff such as this is going a tad too far, in my opinion. Money is actually buying you more experience per hour and less downtime.

Of course, if there are other rings that do similar things, or better, and are available in-game, then I suppose it does not really matter much. Still, at least at the beginning, CE players will have a little advantage, something I always despise.

In-game CE items, in my opinion, should be limited to visual things and relatively useless perks, like "The Drinking Cape". Things that make you faster, stronger, or richer stand in the way of a level playing field, no matter how small the offence is.

Totally agree.  I'd say a much better thing would be a collector-only emote, or something like that.  I don't want CE stuff impacting the real game (and I'd buy the CE just for the other stuff).

Too many people posted on AoC forum saying to stay away from GoGamer. With that much negative feedback and almost no positive feedback, I'd take their advice.

I was thinking the same thing, don't really care about the rest. (well, the map might be fun)
