The game "Shadow of Legend" is NUMBER 4! on the top in development games.

Now normally you would say "Hey who cares, must have a loyal fanbase, and something to attract all the rave" Well no they dont, its all obviously the developers of the game who have been raising up the score of it, and even posting messages back and forth to themselves in the forums.

You know how I found all this out?

They made different accounts, (Ok guys smart move)

Then they made different ages, and post counts for each of them (Also good)

But theres on major flaw for all the of the hundred odd names and people they have THEY ALL LIVE IN SHANGHI, CHINA!!!

seriously go look at everyone who posts in the reveiwing of the game and they are al lfrom the same place or the people in the forums. Nice Try guys.

I seriously hope the MMORPG mods see this and knock off all the phony acounts and scoring so a REAL mmo can get up there and take its place. I dont even care if i think it sucks as long as it isnt trying to cast its way into the top with secret dev tricks, which are very bad at english i might add!

There IS something evil and nasty coming out of asia, and its been happening for several years now.

With the rise of MMOs in the US and the success of WoW, they want some of that good old US dollar pie. If you take a look at any asian grinder (2moons, Archlord, Silkroad, PW, Shaiya, etc) all these games have one thing in common:  C A S H S H O P S.

They advertise on MMO sites like this one all the time: "Free to Play!" And because the US developers have fallen on their faces pretty much the last few years (except 1 or 2 mmo) Most gamers have been feeling betrayed, let down and frustrated waiting to play something they were told would be good, good and good. They sign up, play for one month or two and  find its not what they say and leave to the next one. That one was rushed too. Next one was cancelled.. Vaporware. Goes on and on. So fed up with buying the box, paying a sub, lot of US are now looking at these azngrnders as a solution. These people know that.

So now they spam these mmo sites with all those fake accounts saying "me love this great game!", get a handful of US players who are too stupid to know they are paying thru the nose in a grind game where everything you need to survive in the game you must buy from the maker anyway (which eventually ends up being MORE than a regular monthly sub), then those idiots come back here and tout how amazing these azn games are.

Its common knowledge the Pacific rim (with the exception of Japan pretty much) takes what you make, rips it down, and makes a cheaper bare bones version. You buy it thinking you got a good deal, next thing you know, your kid is turning blue from cyanide paint on Thomas the Tank Engine. They are masters at this.. no scruples. So now they have turned their attention to mmos; not killing kids, but killing your disposable dollar.

The only way this will stop is for the devs to make more games like .. WoW. Not clones, but see what they do right and improve on it. This way, youll get the fan base WoW has but more hardercore players who will stick around for years, like the original EQ1 crowd did.

Please dont let these cashshop games take over. Make good games; we promise well pay the monthly fee.

I do like you to not say every bad MMO is Asian though. FF has been very hard on hackers lately, and NCsoft delivers very 'fair' and finished games, completely cashshop free.

Besides those 2 companies I agree. Cashshops are the worst.

Every bad MMO isnt asian,, thats not what I said. Least I dont think I did.

Final Fantasy is actually a VERY good MMO to play; it givesyou a decent level cap (75) which is not arfticially pumped up, gives you classes so everyone can share a load on killing a mob (rather than most azngrinders.. cash shop scroll, aoe party, cash shop scroll, aoe party, cash shop exp scroll, aoe party) Final Fantasy has fishing, Chocobo rides, Players can teleport other players so thats free.. Airships are free after you do the quest, lots of content with lots of good instance missions. A storyline that makes sense. Tons of class choices and having subjobs makes them even more replayable. The botters just sneak in so they can get money from ppl who dont want to level properly (too lazy to level).

Also, FFXI is from Japan, which I already said is the original country in asia actually making games worth playing, not ripping ppl off for what they can get.

Yea, I agree, asians enjoy games just like north americans... what is the big deal?

Since I'm not anticipating "Shadow of Legend" at all, I gave it a hype level of 1. Taking into consideration the spamming to raise the games popularity level as well as how crappy the game looks at this point (and the game is pretty much the same as a hundred other Asian MMOs, simply using a slightly different design template), the game will most likely be nothing but crap.
