The titles I came up with for the boxed expansions:

Journey into Moria

The Wraith of Dol Guldur

Revenge of Isengard

The Fate of Gondor

I would love to see updated NPC animations, and a heavier arsenal on armors in cloneland. Fix that, and I might, just might have myself come back :) Tired of looking at wolfes etc. running like they have a latency of 5000.

Oh and also, discard PvMP, worst excuse for a pvp solution ever, and add real pvp. Really sad such a great story, got lost on such a bad project. This game could use tweaks so many places, yet they went ahead and released it, half done.

Thank you for you opinion. and that is all it is. Cause it is your opinion that the game is halve done and needs tradtional PVP. It is also your opinion that it was a bad project. Have you stopped to think of all the lore that would have to be created to just make the evil side playable in the same way as the good side? Lore that under the license they don't have the right to do. Only tolkien enterprise can do that and they won't. I have been playing this game since closed beta started and if it was only halve done by your standards then wow must of only been a quarter of the way done.

Since they had a crappy launch were LOTRO had a near flawless one and yes i was there for the launch. Nice try but you fell short.

Well I love this game but common dont be a fun boy and confest that he has got a point .....

"that game is only half way done" is not an opinion its a freaking fact...

even  this pool  list so many area missing ,

its barely 10% of middle earth in the game so by my opinion it  is a 10% game finished

but that does not mean that game is bad ......

in fact its having a great potential

In that context, every mmorpg is unfinished.  The addition of content over time is part of what makes these games special, and to say that we are playing an unfinished game because all of the content hasn't yet been released is kind of short-sighted.

Regardless, this thread is about locations, not armor, wolves or pvmp.  I think we already have a few threads covering those topics (and probably this topic as well, but I still wanted to post it).

What am I looking forward to? The eventual release of Age of Conan. I would say allot more nice things about this game, but every time I start enjoying it, I have to stop everything and hustle up a group. I don't think I'll be around for another free update. I don't think I'll resubscribe.

I'll be playing that, and playing LOTRO still as well.  This game is easy to keep up with once you put the work in to get your char to full potential - skills and trades.  It's not high maintenance IMO, but still alot of fun and with a future almost too exciting to imagine.  AoC should be a blast too.

And may I point out that that is YOUR opinion. I dont even have to guess, you're obviously one of those types who can't stand when people go against something you like. You're not man enough to tell yourself, ok that's his opinion, I'll leave it at that, no you have to jump into defensive mode like its something you've built, and tell me how wrong I am. I too was in the beta, I too was there when it was launched, I too have experienced endgame, so dont play macho on me :) What I say is not merly based on my experience from other mmorpgs, but from the fact that Ive read all the books a thousand times, and been a huge fan of tolkiens works through out my childhood and while growing up, so dont come here and tell me the obvious. Yes In my opinion the game doesnt do the title justice at all, the game was released way too soon.

Now where do I say anything about traditional pvp? can you find it? cause I sure as hell can't. Yes I believe PvMP is the saddest excuse and solution for pvp, you dont agree, so be it, atleast I know thousand others does. You prolly dont know it, but atleast 60% who play LOTRO dont care about how bad the PvP system is, due to the fact they dont care about pvp!. As a PvP'er, lotro for me just aint the right choice, that simple. Ofcourse some enjoy it, that's true, which in my opinion are those people who aren't very competitive, and care much about how the whole pvp factum works. "Grats on lvl 10, you can now play Monster play" weee *jumps out of character and enters monster play* (Time to level my monster and experience the dark side! YEA!) *Enters as level 50* what the? *Now go get killed by some random person who are bored.

I'm sure you're thinking, what a lame opinion, oh well, we can't all be alike can we? If we were, lotro wouldnt have any players :) One last note, I pointed out animations, do you really think, the animations ingame, are any good? Lets take minstrell for example, hey I love the idea of them playing an instrument, I dont love the fact that its the same animation 80% of the time, nor do I like the idea of the "ahhhhhh" "dingeling" sounds over and over, there are no variety at all. After raiding I had nightmares, after standing in a raid etc. with 10 minstrells, going *AHHHHHH* *OHHHHHH* *DINGELING* *DINGELING*. And dont even get me started on the group aspect, if you can't see what's wrong there, then you have obviously no idea, about the aspect of an mmorpg.

But like you so well pointed out, that's my opinion. Welcome to the world.

Just out of curiousity..what game has a good pvp system? UO, EVE, DOAC were the best IMO, yet they are/were still horribly lame in so many ways. WOW with its battlegounds? Just trying to figure out what you're using as a comparison here. And what exactly makes that pvp better than lotro. What make it 'real' pvp?  If you got time to share.

Yo dont get me wrong mate, im not saying theres the perfect pvp solution. What I mean about lotro is the fact that "world pvp" is kinda dead, due to the fact you can be only one faction (To a certain extend) if ya know what I mean. If I know the solution for the perfect pvp, I wouldnt be sitting here chatting, I would be a part of a company making the next great mmorpg, right? I just wish they had come up with something a lil' better than PvMP that's all, frankly and honestly spoken, I think lotro's system sucks. Sure I enjoyed my time to lvl 50, once I got used the, mob animations looking like they had 5000 latency, lagging around, but like I said, seeing as Im a pvper, lotro just didnt offer enough for me. Many ppl enjoy endgame, doing the same encounters over and over, I like, and play for the pvp part, and say what ya want, compared to alot of other games, the system in lotro, is way behind.

I hear ya. Was just wondering what you thought was 'good" to get a better idea of what you thought was 'bad'. You just seem awfully disappointed in something that was never supposed to be anything more than what it is. I totally understand the "want" to pvp in middle earth. Sucks it wasnt a game based on PVP..but thats just me. And thats not the game they made. They made a PVE game, and added monster play as an addition...never said it would be a
