Well... this is not really a post about an epic battle as much as a question.

I know that the mammoth and the rhino mounts began as exclusive preorder mounts, but I read in a recent thread that you will be able to purchase them now as well. Was anything officially announced about this? To me it would take away a bit of the novelty of the mounts. I think a limited amount of them would be great. It would make them exotic, rare mounts instead of common ones.

By the way... I havent seen a camel yet in any game footage. Are they still in game? I hope they have a "spit" animation.

Where did you see the rhino as a pre-order bonus item?  The only one I have seen is the Mammoth.  I haven't seen anything on camels lately either would love to see a good answer on that one as well..

The rhino is a Best Buy preorder and the mammoth is a Gamestop preorder... or so I believe. Someone please correct me if I am wrong or if this has changed.

Pre order info for Europe would be appreciated as well.

Ok here goes the explanation:

WAR mammoth and KILLER rhino are exclusive preorder bonus mounts. REGULAR mammoth and REGULAR rhino can be purchased in game.

Lol, you just gave me a funny mind image of a war mammoth going blurry eyed and charge into battle, with the guy on top yelling war songs,

while the regular one eating grass and drinking fresh water and when the battle time comes to flee with the driver chasing it from behind.

Can anyone link the pre-order for best buy?  I didn't see it in the list gave above.

ALl I can say is have you seen the GDC08 video that shows off the mounts in combat? Did you see the swath of dead bodies left over after the Rhino put the smack down? The mammoth was very sweet, the climbing up the huge mammoth animation was killer. But.. the rhino rocked.

So you bet your ass I'm getting a Rhino!

Edit: oh I've heard several people say they dislike that there are only 3 mounts. That WoW has more. Well, thats not true. WoW has more variety of mounts, but in AoC there isn't just one horse model, theres dozens! Yes, dozens. They have different patterns, armors, speeds, strengths, constitutions, etc. I cant wait to see how many there are and the variety. But several devs have distinctly said there are dozens of horses in the game. Maybe we'll see a wider variety of mounts come in post launch. Or different  varieties of Mammoth and RHino :)
