The Cure. Pretty much anything by The Cure is "Epic".

That Pavoratti song...I wasn't really a huge fan of that one. His rendition of Ave maria (I don't know how it's spelled) brings a tear to my eye though. Literally the only human who could sing in a language that I don't understand, and make me cry. |

| There's something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be, desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety? |

I was thinking about this and only came up with 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' (Beatles) for the early 60's, and 'Born to Run' (Springsteen) for the 70's. Although I agree that 'White Rabbit' would be a pretty fair choice for the late 60's. Anyway, you might enjoy looking over Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time: |

Originally posted by DraenorEh, anything Luciano sung was epic. Even the time he accompanied the spice girls. I just posted the first result on Youtube, which ended up being Nessun Dorma. |

I just thought of another good "epic" song. "For What It's Worth" - Buffalo Springfield "Fortunate Son"- Creedence Clearwater Revival represented Vietnam well too, but Worth just seems a bit more epic | |
